I have been following this weather and climate writer for the last year. I have gained much knowledge about the changes that are occurring in out climate. We now have a super El Nino headed on it's way to the Americas. The truth is scientist don't really know how this extreme warmth will effect our weather but we are in for a record year.
This has grown into one of the worst outbreaks of this disease and it is growing. From what I have read that they think it came from eating fruit bats that are a delicacy in that part of Africa. Bats are a vector for Ebola. This is a good read because it follows up with a description of the virus and how it works.
This is an argument about worldviews, not about facts, and it ignores the heart of the matter. The reason to fully examine the CIA’s torture program isn’t that it was ineffective. It’s that it was immoral.
I guess Harry Reid struck a nerve. Also all the liberal and progressive have been hammering away at the Kochs on the internet in blogs and articles. They can't hide anymore. More and more people are starting to learn who they are. Here is a little of the WSJ rant that Charles Koch wrote. It is more self serving and justifying then anything else.
More than 440,000 Florida residents had been enrolled through the federal marketplace through the end of February, putting Florida on pace to exceed the federal government's initial projections by the time enrollment closes March 31.
I expect her to run for the state house again in Miami as a Democrat. The person that is running for House in FL-19 is Alice Freeman and she is a former Republican switched to Democrat for the same reason. There is plenty of enthusiasm with the Florida Democrats.
Things are looking better everyday for the 2014 election for Florida Democrats. It didn't take the court very long to approve this because it was only a week since the names on the petitions were verified.
John Morgan of the Tampa Law office of Morgan and Morgan put up the 4 million that it took finance the petition drive. Charley Crist was working for this law firm. It is one of the top law firms in the state and they must of put this drive carefully together for it to move this fast. They argue cases all the time at the State Supreme Court.
Now you are probably wondering what a hakurei turnip is? It has been cultivated in Japan for thousands of years. I had never seen or tasted one until it was in my CSA share.
Last week’s massive spill of the toxic chemical MCHM into West Virginia’s Elk River illustrates another benefit to the business class of high unemployment, economic insecurity, and a safety-net shot through with holes. Not only are employees eager to accept whatever job they can get. They are also also unwilling to demand healthy and safe environments
My little taste testers won't admit to sticking a finger in the center of the pie.
I promised Ramona my sweet potato pie recipe last November, which I forgot all about it until Richard commented that he might buy a pie. That got me started thinking I should make one because I had every thing I needed for a quick sweet potato pie. Keep in mind that a sweet potato pie is easy to make and you can't ruin it.
A wonderful way of enjoying watermelon is to make Italian Ice. Sometimes the watermelon is just too much to eat. The first of December I received a large wonderful tasting watermelon from my share of the local CSA farm.
This is good news. They will have to submit emails and draft maps. There is a new constitutional amendment that outlaws districts to be drawn for political gain. I live in a district for the state upper chamber that snakes from downtown Ybor City to St. Pete to Ruskin to Samoset and is less then a quarter a mile wide in the section I live on it's way to pick up New Town in Sarasota. In the 2012 election I was surprised to be on the wrong side of the street for the district I used to be in. Ybor City and Downtown Tampa is 45 minutes away. My state senator lives in Tampa.
