    THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

    This link got to me.

This mother lost two of three triplets, evidently and it recounts her taking her four year old to preschool for the first time and then LEAVING HER THERE. hahahhah

My granddaughter is going to her first day of preschool on Monday, next.

The parents had to work out the delivery system as well as the recovery system.

Daddy was unhappy because 'they' make the babies wear this big back pack.

He ended up purchasing the correct back pack of course.

Mommy and Daddy were present last week for the 'rules'.

Mommy had an entire list of questions regarding the curriculum. hahahah

Mommy has her own teaching degree.

    THIS IS A BIG DEAL.

I just loved this Huffpo essay.

Oh how I love babies and oh  how I love parents who give a damn about their babies.

    the end

Well, yeah.  It got to me too.  Thanks for making me cry ... in a good way.   I have no point of reference other than my own experience going off to kindergarten when I was still three months away from being 5 years old, but I'm pretty sure my mom was just like that mother, crying about her baby taking his first steps into the world beyond home and praying that I was ready.    You're right, it is a big deal.

My first baby ended up incubated.

Like they say, I had no idea.

She survived as a contributing member of society and a wonderful woman.

This lady lost two babies and one survived.

And this lady had to 'leave' her baby alone in the world.

There are portals and stages and....

But in the end, one must send their child into the world.

    alone

    But parents get to monitor.

    hahahah

They make them have the big back packs so the papers that are sent home will fit flat.  I always called them turtle shells because that is what they reminded me of on the backs of such little kids.

My youngest grandson is going in All Childrens Hospital in Tampa for tests on Thursday. They want to figure out what is causing the acid reflux that he is experiencing.
