Nothing screams out "white male privilege" like waiting your turn behind a female monarch for 70 years.

Nothing screams out insensitive attitudes towards marginalized minorities than a term for native women.

No more "Squaw Valley" I guess - seems someone found it objectionable, perhaps because it didn't recognize trans and transitioning native humans with hootches of the 19th century.

Meanwhile, she was a nice old smiling great grannie two days before she died! Whatever you think of her (and I wasn't a fan), we should all be very lucky to go so well. Events: Heavy gunfire is occuring around the area of the U.S. Embassy and residential compounds adjacent to the Trutier area of Tabarre. All Embassy personnel have been instructed to remain indoors and shelter-in-place until further notice. All others should avoid the area.

Actions to take:

Avoid the area;

Avoid demonstrations and any large gatherings of people;

Do not attempt to drive through roadblocks; and

If you encounter a roadblock, turn around and get to a safe area.
