the other kind of no peace - this resounds with many:

Polls showed many whites agreed with the outrage around the racial trifecta that sparked the protests, but weren't sympathetic to the BLM organization & its goals. And even that lily had faded by end of summer. Of course lots of GOP propaganda "resounds" with the tribe - they're out to cooptthe message in any circumstance.

but messaging like this will not be forgotten
June 8, 2020. Pelosi says "...we are here to honor George Floyd..." and later Pelosi does a laundry list of names of victims of police brutality and asks for additions to be shouted out. The names are not all slam-dunk examples of police brutality. What it is is pandering to BLM. This kind of thing made a lot of people (my own brothers, for one example, who were raised as Democrats and used to be reliable Democratic voters, and are younger than me, including one Gen X and one with a Black wife and now a beloved Black male grandchild as well ) very angry, permanently angry, with "liberals" -

I still have trouble getting across why a freaked out addict supervised by his dealer to pass fake money (that the minimum wage counter help would have to reimburse) to go get more meth to shove up his bung hole, largely caught in the act by the time the cops showed up, and yelling "Momma, Momma" for 5 mins while trying to control might not be the ideal police brutality hill to die on. And while I was sympathetic for a couple nights rioting, i didn't sign on to seasons 1 & 2. I remember telling an old Portland friend that these self-absorbed street prima donnas shaking their asses & thinking they were cute while lording it over everyone else, well, weren't going to end well. Watching minorities lose their hard-built stores to a bunch of primping preening jerks didn't cure any of the police excesses either.

No self-respecting Dago would be caught dead playing all nice with these Micks and Polaks. Where'd this "white people" shit come from anyway. They're even trying to rehabilitate Yids, and with all these borscht eaters it's hard to hear yourself think. Painful to think all these towns built by Krauts, & now taken over by Heinz 57 mulatto wannabes, no pride in own culture. I mean, look at that Viking Danish/Swedish lot, no prob raping and pillaging those effiminate Angles & Sax horns down to the Channel and back, they didn't come back saying "oh blimey, we're all united frog & snails eaters now - they kicked the shit out of the Huns all the way to the Black Sea and back while devastating Europe with another 30 year war.

They knew there would continue to be great political benefit if the Jan. 6 protesters were more well behaved than BLM protesters:
