Contra Goldberg's meme, there's himself who was pretty damn toxic as a youngin blogger. Then lookit this, I am so very pleased for small favors, here's two more Gen X'ers who grew up in the "where's the outrage?!!!" liberal blogosphere exhibiting wisdom of age:
Not only that, but Klein just got hired at a NYTimes that was increasingly being populated by continually outraged millennial wokees and Millhiser has become one of the eminence grise growups back at Vox. Things are looking up. I don't need much, just to see some sense and rationality once in a while. I'll find it where it is.

I saw Goldberg speak around 2010 and he seemed already like an oddball in a conservative world that was already beginning to take a whole other form.
