Dear Dagblog,
Just a quick note to say "thanks" for all your efforts to make us happy! You even went so far as to disappear for over a day, which must have been hard for someone who loves to be seen as much as you do. But you did it for us. Your facelift is amazing! Just enough change to enhance your natural qualities while staying true to the Dagblog we've grown to love.
I'd like to add a personal thanks from me, because you noticed that I'm alittle different. I read and write on the same thing I talk into, which has made interacting with you kind of hard. But you kindly considered folks like me and made yourself much easier to approach! I can see you like everyone else does now, among other things ( you know what I mean), and I really appreciate it. You're a keeper!
All the best,
Missy

Richard, if you have not figured out how to write on your new computer, there is Apache Open Office. It is like Works on Windows 7 and earlier versions of Windows. It is a free down load. It is what I have been using since I got Windows 8. The folks over at Kos told me about it.

There is also a Windows Internet Explorer shell that can be downloaded. But I will have to look for it. I forgot where I got it on line. I think I got it off of one of the tech boards. It makes life on the internet easier for us old folks. Windows 8 was too big of a leap.

THAT'S IT, I HAVE A WORD PROCESSOR NOW.

CHROME SAID NO BUT I OVERROAD ITS AVICE.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
I STILL HAVE A LOT TO LEARN ON THIS DAMN HP. HAHAHAHAH
BUT I CAN WRITE! AS OF 3PM ANYWAY.

Now you can make all your lists and put them in a document file. My biggest problem at first was I had things flying out of the corner on the right side and my touch pad was too sensitive. It took me 2 months to find the setting on that. LOL...So just ask. I may have had the same problems.

I just like that it's faster and doesn't seem to be crashing all the time.
PS Dag says "Shucks, ma'am"

Missy, I hope you stick around because we can always use more ladies around here. I like your writing style.

What a nice thing to say, momoe, thanks! I was at the Cafe for a long time, then bounced around a bit. I like it here, it's comfortable.

I remember I was one of your readers. It took me a long time to work up the nerve to join in. Then several months later the cafe closed.

Well, I'm glad we're sharing space again! Lots of familiar faces around here ... I look forward to continuing the conversation.

Nice to see you Beetlejuice! Once we get all the bugs worked out, I'll send out an email to old members, so maybe we'll see a few old-timers again.
