I Have Power”: Is Steve Bannon Running for President?

On a whirlwind tour around the globe, Trump’s former aide and alter ego reveals what really went down in the White House, his unfettered thoughts on Iavanka, his complicated relationship with his erstwhile boss—and his own political ambitions.

“I realized if you’re not out there for the hobbits, you’re not in their lives,” Bannon said, using his affectionate moniker for Trump voters.

An interesting tidbit here in the article...

“The G.O.P. establishment, as personified by Mitch McConnell, has not done a good job supporting the president’s agenda,” Bannon told me. During a recent speech he declared a “season of war” on the G.O.P. and he is drafting insurgent candidates to challenge seven of eight G.O.P. senators up for election in 2018. Bannon’s war is just ramping up. Through his nonprofit, Government Accountability Institute, he’s planning to release a Clinton Cash-style book that takes aim at the G.O.P. establishment in general and McConnell in particular.

The primary insurgents Bannon has tried to recruit, dubbed “The League of Extraordinary Candidates” by Breitbart, is a ragtag band including former Arizona State Senator Kelli Ward; Blackwater founder Erik Prince; mega-donor Foster Friess; and Danny Tarkanian, son of U.N.L.V. basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian, all of whom inarguably fall far short of Bannon’s stated populist principles.

    Government Accountability Institute

The Government Accountability Institute (GAI) is "a conservative investigative research organization," according to the Washington Post in 2012. The GAI states its mission as being "to investigate and expose crony capitalism, misuse of taxpayer monies, and other governmental corruption or malfeasance."

The GAI has several ties to right-wing groups such as Citizens United, Breitbart.com, the American Conservative Union, the Young America's Foundation, and the Hoover Institution, through its key staff and board members:

"Keith Koffler’s book will help you understand why Steve Bannon still matters, and why he is one of the most powerful and important men outside the Oval Office."

I'm saving up for the Steve Bannon "hot hatha" yoga tape with free bath suds. Yes, all Steve's men have been busy sending their datk horsemen out to whatever corner of the Shire - he will have that ring - the ghost of Andrew Breitbart commands.

PS - get your friends and family this handy 8-year-old-tantrum decoder ring (dark & ominous runes of Sauron/Bannon version coming):

For the evening tho, Breitbart has to gotta do the save white baby jeesus and his western civilization thing, though; their headline Mansour: How Christmas Has Shaped Our History and Values with this illustration

Was actually helpful for me, kind of clears up the whatsitallabout of the link between Bannon-ism and the Christian Right! Tend to forget that side of him with all the MAGA "white working class" economic stuff that crosses over to some Bernistas. Bannon has a piece of Christopher Hitchens in his bag, too. Though nobody but WASP's can be part of the history of western culture. He knows that Yeshua was a Hebrew. So do all the apocalyptic Christian Dominionists, that's why they are pro-Israel. As long as Israel is a lap dog and keeps doing Tel Aviv secular style, everything's good.

Extra added, I just looked up: interesting if you've ever read Bannon is Catholic, well: not exactly, it's not about religion, that would be his own special sort of Catholic church, a sort of 1950's Catholic state of mind where there's still a Latin mass and a European western civilized Vatican. His church is Caucasian cultural history.

Bannon Puts Jared Through the Grinder

Ever quotable, the Breitbart chief lays the swirling Russia scandal at the feet of his old White House nemesis.

Former Trump chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon milled his former Oval Office colleague Jared Kushner into a bloody chunk of battle sausage this week and smeared him across the shiny pages of Vanity Fair. You’ve got to read Bannon’s quote three or four times to fully savor the tang of its malice and cruelty. After scorning the Russia collusion theories as fiction, Bannon acknowledged the grisly reality that the Russia investigation poses for his former boss. And he blamed it all on Kushner, for having created the appearance that Putin had helped Trump. Dropping Kushner head first into the grinder, Bannon turned the crank [....]

    Bannon? Turning the crank...

Yeah Ducky, I took a couple of weeks off.

Actually, as you well know, Bannon has shown his real colors?
