Amazing case brief - even to the point of being required reading, for basic summary of racial history, the tilted bizarre landscape of police enforcement over the 4th Amendment, and a much better idea of how we got here & why intelligent humane policing is so unlikely to evolve in practice with current judicial support fór the opposite.

A reminder:Justin Amash and Ayanna Pressly know what needs to be done first step. The judge's opinion just makes it ever clearer.
(Instead we get all these fucking stupid street BLM protests ad nauseum as if they are going to change anything except make most good police hold back. If you took a tenth of the people protesting and had them write their congresspersons to support this, it would be done by now. If they want to protest something, people
couldshould instead be protesting Federal response to coronavirus, that's something that Congress can't come up with fixes as easily and it's much more urgent as to numbers of lives that could be saved.)by artappraiser on Wed, 08/05/2020 - 1:53am
