    Interesting new-to-me parallels with Napoleon III.  Before I only noticed a shared taste for Second Empire interiors. :D

     


    I like those interiors as well. But as for personal druthers, Biedermeier is almost always better, like buttah. Just a bourgeois at heart, that's me.


    I like the simplicity of the small room especially the masonry heater but not the antlers over the door. Why do people like to hang parts of dead animals on their walls?
