WTF? I can't figure out what this is about -

This is a Democratic era, with Democratic leaders. GOP is largely on the defense and will stay that way.

Too simplistic - GOP has great enthusiasm among its true believers, a lock-step response that Democrats can never imitate. Many signs point to Democratic disaster in 2022 - if you see your funeral in the headlights, hard to call it your "era", or that the hyenas in the road are "on the defensive". Margins are too close in Congress and in the electoral college, while the GOP has packed too many courts plus controls most of the state governorships & legislatures.
Not exactly time for complaisance and self-congratulation. Behavior that used to warrant banishment from politics is now applauded by partisans. Pretty scary.

    the performance art thing:

Cool, (17yr) Girls Gone Wild parties in Congress. Revamp that Intern program.
(for equal time, Jim Jordan can pack the aisles with youthful male wrestlers -
maybe Marjorie will handle the underage Chippendale participants)
What will be the inhalant of choice?
BTW, do we still condemn that "wide stance" Congressman, who it always seemed to me wasn't really bothering anyone who didn't want to be bothered (yeah, it was public toilets, but anyone who'd take such a come-on from the side stall is decidedly into a pickup). I mean, Congressdude wasn't even using federal funds or political donations, not even date rape drugs, just working the bathrooms the old fashioned (pre-Stonewall) way.

I invented ISIS with John McCain. (Thats literally what these people think these pictures are… if you ever meet with someone from the Middle east then you invented ISIS. ). Ignorant people. https://t.co/cBuC2weC9P

CNN Exclusive: Jan 6 investigators believe Nov. 4 text pushing 'strategy' to undermine election came from Rick Perry

By Jake Tapper and Jamie Gangel, CNN, Updated 4:29 PM ET, Fri December 17, 2021

Washington (CNN)Members of the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 attack on the US Capitol believe that former Texas Governor and Trump Energy Secretary Rick Perry was the author of a text message sent to then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows the day after the 2020 election pushing an "AGRESSIVE (sic) STRATEGY" for three state legislatures to ignore the will of their voters and deliver their states' electors to Donald Trump, three sources familiar with the House Committee investigation tell CNN.

A spokesman for Perry told CNN that the former Energy Secretary denies being the author of the text. Multiple people who know Rick Perry confirmed to CNN that the phone number the committee has associated with that text message is Perry's number [....]

Obviously, there is a plan to attempt to rally the troops to unify behind these "#Commitment to America" talking points for 2022 races:

The House Republican plan when we're back in the majority:
    ✅ Rein in the IRS
    ✅ Fund the police
    ✅ Secure the border
    ✅ Put American energy first
    ✅ Stop the runaway spending
✅ Pass a Parents Bill of Rights

    1) kill gov & leave you $ rich/comfort free*

    2) own the libs

Shortened it for the attention deficit crowd

*yes, if you're a multi-millionaire, you'll be fine. For flyover country, suggest learning a foreign language like "welcome to Wal-Mart" for your healthcare income. But don't stress - it won't be enough no matter what you do, so relax.
