The Bishop and the Butterfly: Murder, Politics, and the End of the Jazz Age

    A Home run

A good mix of nuts& bolts and aspirations.

I won't go down the path of whether it would have been better with Bernie. What should concern us is whether she wants  what we want her to want.

And whether we think she can get it.

Well with respect to the second, probably not.  Probably no one  could. But at least as she leaves the starting gate tonight she's heading in the right direction.

It was more than "good enough" it was pretty darn good. If you'll pardon the intense language.

In the spin room the discussion seems to be on whether she missed a chance to attract Republicans. To quote a near by  advisor "she didn't open a door for them, but she didn't go out of her way to slam one in their face."

Hal. Go back to New Hampshire again for Hillary. We need your help. And it'll be worth the trip.

    Good assessment Flavius.

Even the pricks on MSNBC with the ESPN FORMAT rate the Democratic Convention way over the Republican Convention.

    I am biased.

    I like Hillary.

Madam Secretary (Madam Senator) did a fine job.

    On to the election.

    Keep the faith.We'll win.
