    Mr. ED & PHIL GINGREY

I think that times have changed in a manner not conceptualized or predicted by previous generations going back 600 years to the invention of the Western European printing press.

Oh we have had idiots writing dictum for at least five thousand years.

I just mean, anybody, including the likes of me, have been able to vent their inner demons to an extent never witnessed by mankind!

In Missouri, Todd Akin ... was asked by a local news source about rape and he said, "Look, in a legitimate rape situation" -- what he meant by legitimate rape was just look, someone can say I was raped: a scared-to-death 15-year-old that becomes impregnated by her boyfriend and then has to tell her parents, that's pretty tough and might on some occasion say, "Hey, I was raped." That's what he meant when he said legitimate rape versus non-legitimate rape. I don’t find anything so horrible about that. But then he went on and said that in a situation of rape, of a legitimate rape, a woman’s body has a way of shutting down so the pregnancy would not occur. He’s partly right on that. ...

And I've delivered lots of babies, and I know about these things. It is true. We tell infertile couples all the time that are having trouble conceiving because of the woman not ovulating, "Just relax. Drink a glass of wine. And don't be so tense and uptight because all that adrenaline can cause you not to ovulate." So he was partially right wasn’t he? But the fact that a woman may have already ovulated 12 hours before she is raped, you’re not going to prevent a pregnancy there by a woman's body shutting anything down because the horse has already left the barn, so to speak. And yet the media took that and tore it apart.

Take a look at Irin Carmon's take on all of this at Salon:

    http://www.salon.com/2013/01/11/a_deja_vu_congress_targets_reproductive_rights_again/

I include the link to Irin because she does a better job of examining this OBGYN's comments better than I ever could

But I must chime in anyway on this subject (once again) because it bugs me. Hahahaha

I certainly cannot call Phil Gingrey a moron.

The Representative from Georgia's 11th District has certainly accomplished more in this world than I will ever accomplish. That is for sure.

Of course I can always hide behind Hippocrates' admonition:

The first thing we must do is to do no harm!

And the harm that this repub has accomplished over the years is monumental to say the least!

I do not like Phil Gingrey.

But regardless of my initial perspective I will attempt to analyze what this great Georgia Repub has just said in this quote..

No matter my conclusion or Irin's conclusion, there shall be no affect upon his predilections or his perspectives on the human condition.

There certainly is some logic in what Dr. Gingrey says.

As I pointed out in a previous examination of this subject, there are those who feel, who believe or feign to believe (for political power and who am I to read into the soul of a human being even though that human being feigns to read into the soul of all human beings who disagree with him!) that every single time a sperm finds permanency in an egg; a soul has been created by The Almighty!

    I understand this concept.

Besides being brought up as a Roman Catholic, I visit with my 8 month old granddaughter and I see a soul. This may well be a fiction since she obviously feels that my finger is a toy and that she would like to use her two teeth to examine this toy; still I KNOW and I absolutely know that she has a soul.

And it is extremely difficult for me to come to some conclusion that ten months ago, Noela had no soul.

This humane and religious concept does not elude me in the least!

We must take into consideration that Dr. Rep. Gingrey's lack of decent training in regard to considering the human condition.

I mean when we sentence a felon for robbing a bank or stealing a car we should at least take a look at this convicted felon's background.

How did poor man end up before the bench for sentencing?

All states require that certain 'considerations' be made regarding a convicted felon prior to sentencing!

And we must give the same considerations to fellows like this repub rep.

But the fact that a woman may have already ovulated 12 hours before she is raped, you’re not going to prevent a pregnancy there by a woman's body shutting anything down because the horse has already left the barn, so to speak.

I thought I would begin with this sentiment firstly.

Has the horse already left the barn after accepting a stud fee?

Or has the horse surreptitiously trespassed into the barn without having proper admission per a stud fee contract?

Or had that horse actually attacked the mare in the grazing area; then absconded to the barn; and then denied any part in the illegal transaction?

All I can think of is a song:

A horse is a horse of course of course and no one can talk to a horse of course unless of course the hors...

There is another portion of Dr. Rep Repub Georgia jack-ass's assessment of things that should be further examined.

I believe that the good doctor is connecting the experiences of an upper middle class couple in Georgia and the problem associated with catching a horse in a barn (this is really hard to assimilate without a proper Georgian upbringing) or sterility?

So the good doctor would inform us that:

CANDY IS DANDY BUT WINE IS QUICKER?

For chrissakes I am just attempting to work with the material given to me you idiots.

Dr. Georgia is evidently informing us that we do not need any Viagra (ever notice that it is almost always repubs who have the LDS *)

Anyhow this Gingrey feels that a little wine and some soft music and a good woody will take care of things; hoping that that horse has finally left the barn—I guess.

So my problem with this assessment (like you could not guess that I have a problem with this assessment? IDIOTS!) is that there are a few instances where Dr. Gingrey's assessments might not work!

Now there is this horny 18 year-old and his 15 year old second cousin appears to be 'comin on to him' and so he gets the idea that Selma Ann might like some of Maggy's Apple Pie and well, there was this 97 Pontiac and well one glass led to another and well, that horse left the barn. I guess?

Or....there is Uncle Freddy who is a lot of fun and he had a few real whiskeys and Selma Ann was always friendly to Uncle Freddy since he was always so thoughtful and all and....

Or...there is Phil who is 48 and really loves his neighbor's daughter and grabs her on the street and repeatedly rapes her until Selma Ann becomes psychotic in her approach to life.

Or...the high school football team decides it is time to have some fun and grabs Selma Ann in the park and....

Or Selma Ann reaches her 35th birthday and has expectations whilst on the bus home from the Medical Center; Selma Ann gets off on her stop and a man with a hoody grabs her and throws her in the bushes and...well the horse has gotten out of the barn.

And this OBGYN republican Georgian Representative would not allow Selma Ann to have a morning after pill or an abortion within a couple months (after discovering that the horse has left the barn) because GOD DECREED THAT THE HORSE HAS LEFT THE BARN.

This sonofabitch would equate the sterility problems of an upper middle class couple in the Georgian suburbs with the pain and suffering of women all over Georgia and all over the world.

Phil Gingrey is a disgusting human being.

I lose it every frickin time I have to listen to these kinds of people who are in power in this country and I have no goddamn idea how to deal with this fact!

Of course if I did not become enraged by this kind of putrid pontification, I would finally realize that I was dead.

Phil Gingrey is attempting to defend the likes of Akin and Murdoch and Ryan and all the other repub hypocrites who hold onto this PRO-LIFE bullshite.

I am too angry to continue right now.

Thank the good Lord something shuts me up!
