Heirlooms

So I've got to move again, next year.  Hopefully, next spring.  I can't really afford to stay here in this big sprawling one-bedroom apartment in Pelham when my job is over on the Hudson side of the county, and my budget is more on the studio side of living.

Angle's Latest Angle

If Sharron Angle took the time to learn some español, she might be saying “Tengo una dolor de cabeza” right now.  Seems Angle has been using some pretty nasty images in her campaign ads in an effort to paint Harry Reid as being soft on immigration/border control.

But the plan is backfiring on Angle now as she tries to appease Hispanic voters in Nevada.

How To Be A Tempting Temp

Well, almost a year after being on Unemployment, and three months of working as a temp, it looks as though I'm finally getting hired. Amen.

The world is round
and what goes around comes around
It's all a cyclical sphere

would be thoughtful, kind and aware
One would hope that we'd all treat each other (and this earth)
with much tenderness, and with care

So how come so much cruelty
Why does ignorance still exist
Why is it with all of our wisdom
there are some who choose to resist

The Day The Music Came Alive

When I first moved up here to Pelham, NY I discovered a radio station called “CD 101.9”. Their moniker was “Smooth Jazz”. They played some really great modern jazz songs, a lot of it instrumental, some of it mellow, some of it funky. I played it in the car all the time because it just seems that jazz is really good for driving.
