    First the "Gay Storm" now "I'm Confused"

    Ah, yes.  We can't allow gay marriage because children will have questions about it.  This would be a big departure from their normal, uninquisitive mode of operation.

    Here's a question a child might ask about, oh, say one half of "traditional" marriages: "What's a divorce?"

    "If we change the definition of marriage, our kids will be taught a new way of thinking."

    Yeah, they will.  It's called tolerance.


    For goodness sake, let's not do anything to confuse the children. Like, for example, telling them that a fat white man in a red felt suit gets in a sleigh pulled by eight flying mammals and flies around the world in one long night, stopping at every house to squeeze down the chimney and not to worry if they don't have a chimney because he's magic and he'll get in anyhow. Because kids don't ever accept as normal anything their parents tell them.
