Good news, I checked for news allover and it seems the only real trouble was in - can you guess? - Portland
and a little bit in Seattle

as to NYC I noted this comment
true, but then again if this protest segregation is to be maintained, then this incident did have to do with whypipple
by artappraiser on Sat, 11/20/2021 - 1:26pm
Ford Fischer and Sergio Olmos were in Kenosha, where the authorities kept a tight lid on things. Here's some of the stuff they posted (since there was no "action" to cover) that caught my eye.
A group of tankies were there
Then Blake's brother seems to be going off on his own?
This heavily armed black guy was outside that tented press conference and says he's "security" but it's not clear he's was officially hired by them:
That's actually very "Wisconsin", everybody there likes their long guns of all kinds.
I noted that there were comments on one of the threads showing him were 2nd-amendment supporters saying things like "good for you!"
by artappraiser on Sat, 11/20/2021 - 1:42pm
^ for those that don't get irony, Erick Jordan above offering "security" for the Blake event could have ended up just like Kyle Rittenhouse if there had been any trouble, he's no different, exactly the same
by artappraiser on Sat, 11/20/2021 - 1:49pm
They are the same only if he shot three people and cried on the witness stand.
Also if he had a million in donations from the Woke and a documentary crew from MSNBC.
Apples ........... Oranges
by rmrd0000 on Sat, 11/20/2021 - 2:15pm
I repeat for poor readers could have ended up just like Kyle Rittenhouse if there had been any trouble
and this has nothing to do with what I said, it all happened after the fact of the shooting
The point: are you for allowing vigilantism or aren't you?
You either have police hired by the community or you have vigilantes mixed with anarchy.
I'll go further: he's taking the law into his own hands unless he was legally registered as a security guard. Rittenhouse at least got his head patted by some cops.
by artappraiser on Sat, 11/20/2021 - 2:43pm
......could have ended up like Rittenhouse
Who went free.
The one thought flows directly to the other.
I don't carry weapons to protests.
Members of Congress are praising a vigilante, perhaps you should focus your attention on them
Edit to add:

strong contrarian points -
I glanced at the feed of "Kyle (Tank)" and he shows little evidence of being a conservative.
"Amschel Merovich" has a red rose next to his user name, that is an indicator of being a follower or member of the Democratic Socialists of America.

AA Portland anarchists, woke and BLM are creating mayhem, looting, and setting fires over Kyle!!! link
by NCD on Sat, 11/20/2021 - 7:07pm
LOL
There will always be knuckleheads creating mayhem (Portlandia)
AA will focus on that while white supremacists go hunting for protesters.
Black lawyers like Elie Mistal, Paul Butler and others pointed out the mountain the Kenosha prosecution had to climb
Most Black news media sites frankly stated that the jury decision was no surprise
The Wisconsin law was crafted to have the effect we observed.
My "Law & Order" law degree led me to believe that by not asking simple "Yes. No" questions of Rittenhouse like we see in the cross-examination of the defendant in the Arbery murder, allowed Rittenhouse an out.
My real lawyer friends tell me the structure of the self-defense law created a high barrier.
Edit to add:
AA is so addicted to her"If it bleeds, it leads", she will still be posting them went the homicide rate drops.
AA cannot comprehend that there are protests after homicides in the Black community.
When police misbehave it is a much larger matter because the police are state sanctioned
In the Arbery case, it took three DAs to get to trial
The initial Arbery DA is under indictment for covering up a homicide.
For AA, everything is the same.

No, it doesn't. You're being an ass again. He said some, "a number of people I follow", worth considering but not a majority - but he hasn't cancelled all the I woke quite yet. But be fucked up and single-minded. Our little mosquito buzzing around. Not sure why you like that role. Wouldn't it be great to join the ranks of intellectuals? Or is that too aspirational?

interesting comment on the Nordstrom incident:
by artappraiser on Sun, 11/21/2021 - 1:51pm
This is similar to what happened in Manhattan early in the 2020 Geo. Floyd protests that caused DeBlasio to enact a curfew: organized criminal gangs from boroughs drove in cars to the neighborhoods with the expensive stores to loot them. The protesters themselves mostly did not loot but a minority did vandalize (and a lot). The organized looters were taking advantage of the police being busy with the protests. The stores in Manhattan were mostly not protected even though they were closed and a lot of people in wealthier neighborhoods had left for their second homes; it was actually incredible that no one attacked them until the protests started, it was still like the old "low crime" NYC until them. Covid of course was a major factor in nothing being attacked, it was rampant and everyone stayed inside and listened to ambulance sirens all night...The unorganized looting in the other boroughs happened the days after the first incidents of organized looting in Manhattan, obviously inspired by seeing news of them, not before. Before that, there was little crime.
by artappraiser on Sun, 11/21/2021 - 2:08pm
there was major organized looting of luxury stores in downtown San Francisco on Friday night, striking enough and amplified in social media that the very liberal D. A. tweeted this:

SWAT fired 10 shots into his.girlfriend killing her.
They wanthe to charge Coffee for the murder.
by rmrd0000 on Mon, 11/22/2021 - 10:04am
You conveniently omit that Coffee was a felon carrying a gun illegally who pleaded self-defense, while you were upset at Rittenhouse for carrying a gun illegally and pleading self-defense (though Rittenhouse's lawyer managed to get the underage possession and carrying an illegal weapon charges disqualified - Coffee not so much:
by PeraclesPlease on Mon, 11/22/2021 - 10:14am
Coffee was convicted of a weapons charge, as you noted.
Coffee did not shoot anyone
Rittenhouse shot three people.
Rittenhouse was not convicted.

"Da blacks get away with murder", Dagblog's main posters. Pathetic. MW should look into what trash gets posted here.
Did you bother to look up who was targeted in the raid, and for what ....?? (Andrew's Dad, for possession 1/2 ounce cocaine which wasn't found, and the Dad was already taken into custody BEFORE the shooting at 6AM).
link
"The target of the raid was Andrew Coffee III, Coffee IV’s father, whom officers believed had half an ounce of cocaine at the residence. He was arrested near the front door of the home. However, an officer then tossed a flash grenade into the front door of the residence, and two other officers broke a window to a bedroom occupied by Andrew Coffee IV and his girlfriend, Alteria Woods, and tossed in a second flash grenade.
Coffee IV picked up a gun and fired at the officers. One of the officers then fired into the bedroom with an assault rifle, striking Woods 10 times while she was still in bed...."

Coffee 3 is the Dad, they raked Coffee 4's bedroom with an assault weapon after detaining Coffee 3, killing the girlfriend.

by rmrd0000 on Mon, 11/22/2021 - 2:38pm
The guy was asking how come no one was paying attention to that trial. I thought it was a good question! THAT IS THE ONLY POINT THAT IS PERTINENT to me.
You apparently want to hide the stories where black people get exonerated by juries? Hope they are covered over and no one pays attention to them because they ruin your narrative?
You apparently want to make sure that only "the narrative" of current court trials being part of a white supremacist system that must be overthrown? That black defendants never win their cases, that's the story you want told?
I don't see how that helps Biden and the Dems who happen to currently be in charge. I think your attitude is pathetic, you want only partisan-preferred news covered (let's only talk about how evil Rittenhouse is because he took a picture with Proud Boys) and furthermore, you're doing that very stupidly, as it's not even a partisan spin that helps the party currently in power. You might as well have voted for Tulsi Gabbard
by artappraiser on Mon, 11/22/2021 - 8:48pm
Rittenhouse was cleared of ALL charges
In the other case, there was a CONVICTION on a weapons charge.
by rmrd0000 on Mon, 11/22/2021 - 8:58pm
Rittenhouse wasn't charged on the minor charges that he might have been convicted of. Deal with it. Prosecutors are not always rocket scientists. I bet it was because there was so much media attention they figured to go for the max and forget the little stuff. Oops they bet wrong.
by artappraiser on Mon, 11/22/2021 - 9:19pm
I'm pointing out the facts.
The post about Coffee suggest he was acquitted, He wasn't.
by rmrd0000 on Mon, 11/22/2021 - 9:29pm
Rittenhouse was charged for carrying the gun, but by statute his rifle was longer than that law prohibited (presumably no concealed weapons, but say hunting rifles are ok).
The transporting across state lines was apparently vaguely/poorly written, where the confusion tips to the defendant.
I also wrote this above:

Every street hustler rejoices - what could go wrong?
I mean 16-year-olds offering adult services on Backpage should be presumed innocent until proven guilty, no matter how bloody and charred the crime scene. Good she had a boyfriend to run to.
PS - haven't a dozen movies been made like this in some kind of variation, like that Whoopi/Drew Barrymore cross-country flick?
Waiting for the "rapper self-defense" trend to start.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrystul_Kizer_case
PS - I'm sure it's just a koinkydink that it's a black girl who killed a white man that has everyone all excited - the oisser about Kyle was he didn't kill any blacks, so it was hard to sustain the vitriol except for the BLM imprint.
Meanwhile, AA, were there any other crimes out there this week?
by PeraclesPlease on Tue, 11/23/2021 - 10:27am
Answering your question: yes, I will be posting them on the Crime news thread. Meanwhile, vigilante Erick is back (see upthread) in Kenosha, this time with his daughter, protecting anti-Rittenhouse protestors, with AR-15's, and Murdoch's NYPost think it's cute, while "Professor Black Truth" think it's awesome:
Did I mention Kenosha is a small town? Population 100,000. A Sarajevo type thing wouldn't last as long with automatics, everybody'd be dead in short order.

Sick of reading idiotic bullshit on this. As far as I am concerned, anyone that wants to opine on the Rittenhouse case needs to educate themselves about the rest of the cast of characters involved besides Rittenhouse, and what they did, to be taken seriously at all. You don't even need to have watched the trial. Because it's all in this WaPo piece from more than a year ago, all of this was already known. I'm copying the whole thing here, fair use. There are photos at the link, I am not copying those.
A mentally ill man, a heavily armed teenager and the night Kenosha burned
Cast by conservatives as a battle between antifa agitators and a right-wing ‘patriot,’ this summer’s deadliest protest-related incident was not quite what it seemed

If you can't make time to read even that, then anything you have to say on it is like this to me:
And yes, it's definitely a both sides thing. Quit making complex human beings fit into your POLITICAL narratives, that's disgusting especially when there's tragedy involved. Rittenhouse is not Trump! Actually, there was virtually no politics involved here, this was a rumble on the streets! And none of those people should have been on the streets.Furthermore by that time of night they were protesting: nothing.
Edit to add just this point: gun laws in Wisconsin.
