Insurrectionists attack the Capitol
Republicans find no need to investigate.
The Woke and BLM are the biggest dangers to the country.

Where is the straw man you are arguing with who apparently said "The Woke" were a domestic terror threat?
I missed him/her, where was he?
I HAVE, however, posted a ton on Extremists both right and left and the intersection with Domestic Terrorism.
Haven't found a scintella of evidence that you read ANY of that. It's obvious you have zero objectivity and would never ever be hired to be in intel because you are the one who ALWAYS posts on right wing extremists but NEVER ONCE has posted on left wing extremists, you can't even see there is such a thing. You're more like a ninny ascared of anyone who is a right winge, if he wears black and yellow plaid, rmrd is scared of him. He's going to cause slavery to return tommorow somehow, is that it?
BUT not the non "terrorist" gang banger on street out on parole for 3rd felony gun conviction with another gun in his waistband, him you NEVER EVER mention. He doesn't terrorize you for some reason. You think you are safe because you always stay inside, or what? Hasn't helped plenty of little kid victims.
Oh BTW did you know one story of late has been how covert FBI basically goaded the players in the "domestic terror plot" against the governor of Michigan, just like they did with Islamists in the past and Black Panther types before that. If you didn't, look it up. Best to be skeptical about some of these charges.

in other interesting extremist news, real extremism and domestic terrorism, not nut cases or, their alternate, kabuki playing "proud boys vs. antifa" looking for living forever on viral videos
as in organized conspiracy groups possibly planning and or executing violence
and there's this, which is very interesting especially as it stands for rule of law of individual states when traveling through them, any old armed militia can't just declare itself a sovereign, important concept to protect us (at the same time it slaps down 2nd amendment absolutists who think that individual firearms can protect us all from some future tyrannical government using attacking bomber jets and tanks...)
you form a militia and travel through states with it, certain entities have a right to poke around about what you are up to

in a way I don't get why incidents like yesterday's in Philly aren't classified as "terrorism" if our government is going to use the term. This broad daylight driveby surely was meant to do so. Tweeter here mentions the National Guard, but I rather think of the FBI fighting criminal gangs throughout its history and in the movies for chrissake:
Some broad daylight shootings are surely meant to terrorize a whole public, as everyone sees them, they are not all just attempts at assassination, there are quieter ways to do the latter.

A single crazy person parks a truck in front of the library of congress and claims to have a bomb, but doesn't have one. And you think that's more dangerous than the BLM riots, looting, and burned buildings. I haven't made a list of all the dangers to the country and I haven't prioritized any of them. But it seems to me the riots and looting during the BLM protests would be in the upper portion of that list and the wingnut lying about having a bomb isn't a big enough deal to be included on the list at all.

You actually pegged it well in your first sentence ocean-kat, as then I was reminded of last Christmas' bombing of downtown Nashville. And it seems similar. If you read the followup of that investigation, that guy intricately planned it for months if not years. It less political than these type people are already living on another planet, they left this world long ago...
strikes me that a lot of Qanon is like that and that if they weren't fans of people like Michael Flynn leading them in certain political directions, they too would start to veer off into worlds unknown to most of the rest of us...

oh wait I missed this part, he's already there, an apolitical fullblown loser who, if he ever had certain cognitive abilities, like reading a map, has now lost a lot of them, i.e., Homer Simpson role plays revolutionary leader for a day

JJ MacNab, who usually analyzes rather than opines, has a bone to pick with media coverage of this guy in one tweet on her thread on the incident

Consider the idea that he just needed a negotiator to talk with him and understand his mental treatment needs; why drag armed military force into it?

a little note about The Woke's lingo being counter-productive, insulting actually
and see whole thread including these
You're irrationally afraid of Proud Boys, who are mostly poseurs play acting for attention.
Rational people are afraid of how popular being a violent anti-cop and anti-law-and-order criminal is becoming with the underclass. ANd how The Woke, if they are not the type just totally have blinders on about that - and many do- think that can be fixed by letting them free and out and about to talk to social workers and stuff or whatever (Conveniently avoiding the dilemma that their dreams would apply to "Proud Boy" types too)
Here's some bluntness I am not sure you can handle:
Democrats may lose the House in 2022 because of "activist" people like and The Woke stating the kind of things you state. Those things unfortunately unfairly get attributed to the whole party. Because not all Democrats can find the balls to be as brave as Jim Clyburn and say "shut up the fuck up, that doesn't reflect our party, go get your own"

Earth to rmrd who doesn't think The Woke and BLM are a problem but who is real ascared of nut cases threatening to bomb a state building at the wrong addres and with no bomb. He is a local story about the serious concerns genuine black people in NYC, including the family of a recently murdered HAITIAN immigrant woman (do you even get the irony of that? she thought she would be safer and have a better future here than in Haiti!)
and a bunch of very serious black clergy, including two bishops who are sick tired and fed up with incredible surges of such violence and publicly BEGGING FOR MORE POLICE OFFICERS at the sites of two homicides in Crown Heights, Brooklyn:
and then you have BLM still pushing #Defund against the wishes of nearly everyone in Crown Heights at the very least, and idiot Woke like Cori Bush Cori Bush just handed Republicans a 2022 gift Analysis by Chris Cillizza, CNN Editor-at-large, Aug. 5 who would I guess advise the Haitian family if they just got more social services and $70,000 for private security like she did, they'd be safe, don't need more police, you see, all you need is $70,000 to stay alive. Both still working hard as can be to make sure the Dem party stays small and pure and the GOP wins more seats in Congress. This is the way to eventual revolution or some such, get it?
If you cared about REAL black people rather than heroic romantic figments of your imagination you'd be ashamed of the elite educated (and mostly white) condescending radical crap about cops (of mostly integrated forces) by now. But you are not. This is why I don't let go. I think the crap you promote is detrimental to the Democratic party and to the country and feeds diviseness and right wing trolls' fondest dreams. You could at the very least make it clear that it is the opinion of one person, yourself alone. Instead you continue to use the royal "we" and refer to a "community" as if you are speaking for a group much less a whole race of Americans or a whole political party. AND YOU ARE NOT. Your views and the way they are voiced are just as radical and dangerous as any Trump loving right winger's.
