I realize opinion on whether it would be advisable to seek impeachment of this president, should the Democrats win at least the House, is split. I am not of one mind on this matter myself, at this point.
Whether one favors this option or not, if Mueller does opt to go down this road it will be a moment. It will command widespread public attention. And it may have large consequences, depending on a number of factors but especially the outcome of these elections and which party holds the majority in the House and the Senate in the next Congress.
Of late, in his public appearances (not in his Twitter comments) I think I see a slightly subdued Trump, the way I might expect him to project if he is shouldering more worries now than usual.
Asked yesterday by the media if he has been subpoenaed, he said "no". As Lawrence O'Donnell put it last night on his show, the pathological liar, when asked if he has been subpoenaed, said "no".
