Ted Cruz SB Proves 'We Need a War-Time President'

Ted, the ultimate example of a swaggering demagogue: The San Bernardino shootings underscore that “we are at [sic] a time of war,” Cruz has said in an address at the Republican Jewish Coalition forum, according to Reuters, which adds the line:

Cruz, who remains behind in the polls, said the attacks prove the country needs “a war-time president to defend” the nation.

I only have a 24 hour news memory, sometimes as short as a 30 second ad before elections, but my wife said we already had a War President who hailed from Texas and it didn't end well.

Is she right?

But Cruz is definitely going for a random event strategy, which is the only way he can get to the head of the pack.

I think the issue of "inequality" will be old hat by the time the election rolls around. This election could well be about national security and thus a real event of "terrorism' could change everything.

Events: Heavy gunfire is occuring around the area of the U.S. Embassy and residential compounds adjacent to the Trutier area of Tabarre. All Embassy personnel have been instructed to remain indoors and shelter-in-place until further notice. All others should avoid the area.

Actions to take:

Avoid the area;

Avoid demonstrations and any large gatherings of people;

Do not attempt to drive through roadblocks; and

If you encounter a roadblock, turn around and get to a safe area.
