Tom Arnold says he's teaming up with Michael Cohen and 'taking Trump down'

    By Avery Anapol @ TheHIll.com, June 22

Comedian Tom Arnold said Friday that he and President Trump’s former longtime personal lawyer are teaming up to “take down” the president.

Arnold tweeted a photo with Michael Cohen on Thursday with the caption "I Love New York," which Cohen retweeted without comment.

Arnold then told NBC News that he met with Cohen as part of a show he is working on for Vice, in which he searches for incriminating videos of the president.

"This dude has all the tapes — this dude has everything,” Arnold told NBC News. "I say to Michael, 'Guess what? We’re taking Trump down together,’ and he’s so tired he’s like, 'OK,' and his wife is like, 'OK, f--- Trump.’” [....]

Is the above basically: Geo. Will et. al.: old fogie talking 18th century stuff, fuck all three branches, one can use Trump tactics against him;  Putin got it, we're slow. but catching on? If true, wondering what Bannon thinks, among others....

Maybe false alarm, here's the top of the "latest" column at The Hill:

I think the thread is still valid, though, I am going to use it to post anything along the lines of "believe it or not" bizzaro change here.

It is not like the giraffes agreed to be set on fire before the photo was taken.

Precisely, as always. Wondering how much fire equipment Cohen's new lawyer has or conversely, whether he sometimes has pyromaniac predilections.

Even "Avida Dollars" couldn't think up this one. Ew, just ew:

And how weird is it that every single one of those pictures was the exact same size.  It’s almost like the White House produced those photos...wait...they did?

    Fits the meme:

all Kayfabe all the time, leaving bystander victims in its wake:

Privately, Stephen Miller has decried EO and said there will be no return to zero tolerance policy, w/ ⁦@anniekarni⁩ and ⁦@nancook⁩ - https://t.co/k5j6d4A6bK

What's next? And will I myself fall for it?

looking like Miller "privately" speaks the truth about what's going on while Sessions continues to publicly spin:

I can't think of anything else to say on this one except maybe bada bing, bada boom:

Ok, my brain hurts now, no more checking on the feed from the press access:

King Abdullah II just now praised Trump's “humility” and “grace.”

Trump, turning to reporters, replied: "Remember, he used the word humility with respect to me, so I am very happy with that word. Probably the nicest compliment I've been given in a long time."

Laura Ingalls Wilder Award Renamed Over ‘Dated Cultural Attitudes,’ Book Group Says

    By Niraj Chokshi @ NYTimes.com, June 26

The American Library Association is dropping Laura Ingalls Wilder’s name from a prestigious children’s literature award in order to distance the honor from what it described as culturally insensitive portrayals in her books.

The decision was made out of a desire to reconcile the award with the organization’s values of “inclusiveness, integrity and respect,” representatives of the association said in a statement on Monday. The award is given out by its children’s division.

“Wilder’s books are a product of her life experiences and perspective as a settler in America’s 1800s,” the association’s president, Jim Neal, and the president of the children’s division, Nina Lindsay, said in the statement. “Her works reflect dated cultural attitudes toward Indigenous people and people of color that contradict modern acceptance, celebration, and understanding of diverse communities.” [....]

Here is one for the glove compartment on the way to Las Vegas:
Sessions heckles the protest of the zero tolerance program as coming from people fainting within gated communities while the commentariat moistens their trousers and pantyhose with righteous urine at the thought of Sanders being recognized in public as a part of Trump's speaking apparatus.

Pull over. I need to kneel again.

I suspect on the road trip neither Raoul Duke nor either of the guys in your ab fab video would be pulling over to kneel, more like take another hit of acid.

If you really want to trip, though, watch the edited video of Sessions speech with the joke, he is a horrific speaker, can't imagine worse. As for your video, I can't decide which of the two is more attractive to me now, though in my youth, it would most definitely be Jimmi. But now, it really hits me, Richard just looks so much more of an intriguing character, and so aesthetically gorgeous in that video, too, back in the day before everyone knew what trans was, the sophistication of his shtick just went over our heads., he was just judged camp or crazy. Makes me think he was like doing David Bowie when Bowie was just a baby, way ahead of his time.
