The Bishop and the Butterfly: Murder, Politics, and the End of the Jazz Age

Glenn Greenwald Bashing Thread. Just because.

Glenn Greenwald went on Laura Ingraham's show and didn't challenge her on her bigotry at all. He didn't say a single critical word about Fox news. Instead he ran interference for Trump. pic.twitter.com/d5O3eO5YQ4

In a tight spot with his traditional "go soft on Trump"angle with today's news, lessee how he handles it:

Fun fact: Balsonaro stripped LGBT folks of their human rights within HOURS of his election. https://t.co/khDHdAwT3u https://t.co/e9PNni5dNl

OIC. Glenn is dealing with the Bolsanaro meeting problem by rationalizing that Bolsanaro mostly is infatuated with the imperialist U.S. and not really Trump so much, Trump is not the issue:

Bolsonaro is so submissive to the US and Trump - but especially the US - that it's actually uncomfortable to watch. It's also true of his sons and his followers. Total self-degradation as part of a creepy inferiority complex: https://t.co/7FmYwGFrFO

Greenwald's "no evidence Russia or Putin poisoned anyone or interfered in the US election" visit to Moscow was notable in that there was no effort on his part to check up on his best bud Edward Snowden.

Snowden being the naive niwit who made Greenwald a media star, by draining every last file from half a dozen nation's security services, in part by stealing over 20 coworkers passwords, before Greenwald and Assange published the stuff & then sent Snowden to Moscow, where he is held in an undisclosed location by the FSB.

Then again,  Greenwald has got what he wanted out of Snowden, that's all that matters.

I'm sure Putin got what he wanted out of Snowden too so it's a win win.
