Cristiano Ronaldo finally disappears – Spain-Portugal World Cup Analysis

Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo gets a bit of a bad rep. How many other players have been openly booed during the World Cup in South Africa. I can understand, of course. He’s too good-looking and too aware of it. He’s arrogant. He’s really, really good. And he’s always up in your face. Yes, Ronaldo is Europe’s answer to a Kardashian sister, but with talent and accomplishments.

Venus and Serena Williams – unprecedented

[Author's Note: I originally wrote this in June of 2008, but feel this post still describes my thoughts on the Williams Sisters. I was reminded of it after seeing Venus Williams shockingly knocked out of Wimbledon's Quarterfinals, 6-2, 6-3 to unseeded Tsvetana Pironkova.]

US. loses to Ghana in World Cup - It's Obama's fault

SOUTH AFRICA - Due to the lack of leadership shown by U.S. President Barack Obama, the United States was knocked out of the World Cup by Ghana, 2-1. It was a tough, back-and-forth game that went 30 extra minutes to decide a winner.

Still, the onus for the lost must go on Obama, who did not attend one World Cup game, due to some oil thing in the Gulf of Mexico.

Some are saying, however, that this is yet more proof that Obama was, in fact, born in Kenya, as Ghana is an African nation. Stop being such a sheeple and read between the lines, people.

WASHINGTON – In a controversial 5-4 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court has overturned and modified the Internet’s infamous “Godwin’s Law.”

The Law formerly stated: “As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1.”

Valiant U.S. Squad Robbed of World Cup Victory Over Slovenia

The U.S. was down 2-0, but fought back to tie 2-2 against Slovenia in a game that will be remembered for the Referee making a horrible call that stole victory from the Americans. While the three points were stolen, the tie gives the U.S. an excellent chance to advance out of the group stage. Plus, the U.S. certainly impressed with their determination and fire in coming back to save their World Cup hopes.
