JUST IN: Federal authorities have arrested a man in connection to the suspected explosive packages, according to multiple law enforcement sources.

Earlier today: Two more packages were found this morning addressed to New Jersey's Sen. Cory Booker and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

10 other potential bombs: A series of pipe bombs and suspicious packages sent to prominent Democrats, Trump critics and CNN has left the nation stunned.

If you have information: The FBI is asking anyone with information about the packages, to call FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or visit tips.fbi.gov.

From CNN's Jeff Zeleny

President Trump is expected to address the investigation into the suspicious packages and explosive devices any minute now.

He's will issue another call for unity and will mention the arrest but give no specifics of who was arrested or any other details, an official said.

The President will describe the suspicious packages as “terrorizing acts,” an official said.

He recently went back to the Oval Office — which explains his delay (he was expected to begin speaking around noon ET).

His speech is being updated as we speak.

Ok, I didn't see or read Trump's statement yet and might not because it seems it does not matter, from the most recent update on CNN Live, it seems whatever is going on at the White House right now is way beyond the most absurdist imaginings in Paddy Chayesky's script for Network:

Later Friday afternoon, as he departed Washington for a rally in Charlotte, Trump told reporters he has no plans to tone down his rhetoric — “I could really tone it up,” he said — and noted that the suspect “was a person that preferred me over others.” He also rejected the notion of responsibility: “There’s no blame. There’s no anything.”

So just to be clear if this account is accurate, he actually noted that the bombing suspect was a "person that preferred me over others", as though associating himself with the suspect is a good thing.

I wonder if they round some of them up at the "Bowery" of each town, free bottle of Ripple after the show if you show up sober to see Trump?

It's so stupid to think Hillary and Obama were in a conspiracy to send pipe bombs to themselves. What about all the other bombs. They couldn't do it alone. There were at least 20 people involved in the conspiracy. They all sent bombs to themselves. Zuckerburg personally created Sayoc's facebook page and Jack Dorsey ran the twitter account. This has been planned for years by Hillary, Obama, and the liberal tech ceo's. They planned it the same day they met to cut the checks to pay the women wearing pussy hats when they protested Trump's inauguration.

Viewing the clip I now think Trump noting the suspect was a supporter seemed to have been offered as more of a casual btw.in passing remark and not something he was bragging about-- or something he grasped might have been significant in terms of the consequences of his words. It is the latter that I have such a problem with.

This is a different interpretation or reaction from the impression I had from reading the newspaper account.

I'm seeing many quoting Rick Wilson's piece for The Daily Beast (of course I'm seeing that cause I am following him and he's hitting "like" for every citation, so there's that! ) But it's also because I think he has such a good pulse on the phenomenon, the right words just come. Actions to take:

Avoid the area;

Avoid demonstrations and any large gatherings of people;

Do not attempt to drive through roadblocks; and

If you encounter a roadblock, turn around and get to a safe area.
