what about blah blah blah blah revolution blah blah blah revolution blah blah blah don't you get?
by Elusive Trope on Wed, 09/26/2012 - 3:23pm
I think you're missing some nuance, the message appears to me to be:
blah blah blah blah revolution blah blah blah revolution blah blah blah, but if one of you steals my copyrighted slogans or images, I'll sic the fascist's courts on you
by artappraiser on Wed, 09/26/2012 - 4:24pm
Meh. Fascists. Anarchists. All the same, if you ask me. Fascarchists.
by Michael Maiello on Wed, 09/26/2012 - 5:38pm
Think about copyrighting that, before one of your fellow Demopublicans/Republicrats (©vvvpr) steals it.

Just got to tell you I loved this one, Trope, puts big shot "word" artists like Barbara Kruger and Ed Ruscha to shame.
by artappraiser on Thu, 09/27/2012 - 2:54pm
I prefer no leaders. Leaders serve only one purpose. To make sure one group is on top and another is on the bottom. And it's always the same group on top.

It seems to me that if someone invites people to join their revolution, they ought to have the courtesy to explain (i) the goals of the revolution, (ii) the means that will be employed in the revolution, (iii) what the world will look like after the revolution is completed, (iv) why that post-revolutionary world would be better than the present world and (v) why the benefits of the revolution will be worth the costs of carrying it out.
If they can't even make a few gestures in this direction, they just look like a clown.
by Dan Kervick on Wed, 09/26/2012 - 8:51pm
But but but.... I LIKE clowns! See the happy clowns? What's not to trust?

I just love this picture of Vice-President Quayle.
This was taken right after the Vice- Presidential Debates, right?

And some of them sing a song of hope
by Elusive Trope on Wed, 09/26/2012 - 10:01pm
And some are on the front lines.
by Elusive Trope on Wed, 09/26/2012 - 10:06pm
Yo, where's the Meetup?

The kindest thing I can say about the clueless clown commentary above is that it certainly highlights the "moron" in "oxymoron". If we are not successful in restoring the Constitutional Republic that was once the United States of America, then it will be my sincere hope that all of you share bunk assignments in the same Gulag - so you can remind each other of how you got there...
by ironboltbruce on Thu, 09/27/2012 - 2:06pm
You are such an angry little virtual man, it's kind of amusing.
No one listens to you because you never say anything worthwhile. Start your angry blog revolution, with no followers and definitely don't vote.
And all you have to say is you hope we all go to the gulag. Hahaha, you are officially a joke.
by tmccarthy0 on Thu, 09/27/2012 - 2:29pm
kind of ?
It's like having a SNL parody character of an anarchist visit once a week. It's almost amazing, how a group of people who disagree about all kinds of things can enjoy near universal agreement about the "quality" of his output in self-described "guerilla marketing."
by artappraiser on Thu, 09/27/2012 - 2:45pm
Hahaha so true AA.
by tmccarthy0 on Thu, 09/27/2012 - 3:32pm
Well, at least "restore the constitutional republic" is a gesture in the direction of a definite idea. But in general, it is almost impossible to figure out what you are actually calling for in your posts. What exactly are you expecting people to do? "fight" - "revolution" - what do those words mean for you? You can't just throw out some cartoons and a list of hash tags and expect to be taken seriously.

Soon, the Gazpacho will come to take us away.
Then we'll all be in the soup!
by Michael Maiello on Thu, 09/27/2012 - 6:35pm
OMG you crack me up des!
by tmccarthy0 on Thu, 09/27/2012 - 6:55pm
A few virtual personae account for over 80 percent of the comments posted to this blog, and over 80 percent of that commentary can fairly be characterized as a virtual circle jerk. This thread has been no exception. And by the way: I am impervious to insults - especially when they come from forum trolls who clearly have no clue and likely have no life. So enjoy your mutual mental masturbation. When I have the time to look, I find it pathetic yet quite comical.

IBB, you have to check this out, it'll blow your mind.
