The alternate reality that is inhabiting our presidency is really starting to get to me, a long time fan of American pop culture. Forget Hollywood, even Indie directors wouldn't dare make up this current lede on WaPo's home page:

Way beyond "The Truman Show", it's all a game and talk show to him. I've seen two or three Senators say something along these lines now: The president is not taking this seriously.
