Make of it will - different type of news as background. Schindler seems level-headed, what more to say...
Oh yes, more interesting spook background from Schindler.

Yes, we've been impressed by Schindler's into before. And this is great news for those who would like to see a good case built.
THAT SAID, I am so puzzled that he is writing for The Observer, formerly the New York Observer. Because it is still owed by Jared Kushner and while he is working at the White House is being published and run by his brother-in-law, and not doing too well at that. This all just happened:
Jared Kushner’s Observer Lays Off Staffers
The Observer laid off four staffers following the departure of editor in chief Ken Kurson last week.

(Forgot to say in my last comment on the paper that New York Observer always covered the NYC fashion industry as well as others like Real Estate, Publishing, Art Market....)
SO WHY IS SCHINDLER STILL BEING PAID TO DO COLUMNS at Kushner's publication? Is he really like a counter-operative? Is the Kushner family expecting him to come up with stuff on "deep state"? Or are they truly for just getting good poop ot on this no matter what, even if some things published might harm Jared?

It's not just Schindler - I've seen other articles that didn't make sense for Jared, so I'm guessing he really is gone from it (& I thought his brother had taken over, but maybe his brother doesn't like him as brothers are wont to do...)

Funny to hear that from you. Whenever I click thru on a potentially counterintuitive take on the white house, etc, it often turns out to be an observer piece and I just discount it immediately as Jared propaganda. Never found myself reading an observer piece that Jared might not like.

I thought his brother had taken over
it's his brother-in-law
but maybe his brother doesn't like him as brothers are wont to do.
Funny you should mention this because it's in the family history i just read now, his dad and dad's brother, that Brooks writes about today in "The Politics of the Clan", read it, it's real juicy, and far beyond the usual stuff to say the least. A taste;
Sounds like Yom Kippur is a really big day in that family....

NYT non-subscribers can read Brooks' piece on the Kushner Clan @ the Seattle Times without using up a NYT story click.
