I personally don't just see this point of view from conservatives. I have several very very centrist acquaintances, you know the kind, successful people so centrist that you can't tell if they lean GOP or Dem. Not the kind to complain about Obama, were fine with him, but you still can't tell if they are Dems. They have voiced to me terrible fears and concerns about Trump & Co. but not so much about the CEO types in the cabinet. They just want some grownups in charge, feel guys like Tillerson and Mattis and Mnuchin and Cohen are fine, and almost seem to empathize with them sometimes. They also seem convinced that those guys secretly have zero respect for Trump & Co. Which disturbs them all the more, it's like they are frightened by Trump & Co because: this whole thing has got to blow soon, and how is that going to end? Will the grownups get fed up and leave? Then we will be screwed even worse, etc.
