Not necessarily a wonder considering that a reporter took a hit last week for not standing up for a colleague from another network whose question was denied by Trump. It was widely noted that when the Obama administration briefly barred Fox from their briefings that other network reporters refrained from attending in solidarity, so when that didn't appear to happen in the recent instance people were worked up; understandably, I suppose. So today's problem is likely an offshoot of the one from last week - everybody's now attuned to the fact that it looks better if they stand up for each other.

Lou Dobbs did not get the memo. Dobbs supports the way the White House treated Collins becuasethe reporter failed to show the proper respect to the President.

A year older than Trump and nothing to lose. So old he forgot CNN gave him his start and then also a second chance after his big space adventure failed. Beyond the ideological agreements with Trumpism (which he's always sorta had, was always a protectionist), I think this one is mainly hey you kids get off of my lawn because even back in the Clinton years had the rep of "a very difficult person to work with".[2] Think he thinks he's above the journalist kiddies, he's a fancy schmancy financial analyst. All that said, I truly once saw Michael Moore tell him it was an honor to appear on his show, shocked me but I swear I saw it with my own eyes....I think it was the protectionist brotherhood thing.

Nobody cares anymore except his little, very old, old-timey-stock-investing-let's-make-more-stuff-in-this-country demographic.

Sometimes I think all of this crap is nearly 100% kayfabe, the fans love the game of getting riled up at the Trump wrestling match and doing the chants and all. BUT then every now and then I see these tattletales about the whole scene, like this one:

Trump supporters can boo and say forever that they hate CNN and @acosta but after the cameras are off, all I see is them asking his opinion on everything under the sun and if they can take pictures with him. It's quite a phenomenon. And he handles it like a pro.

And while they'll wait in line to see Trump perform, they may not be the type to show up to vote for whats-his-name in the mid-terms.

And the further gone QAnon cult types would certainly not be voting for congress, anyone wanting to be part of the system would be part of the plot, unless they are planning to write-in Alex Jones.

Events: Heavy gunfire is occuring around the area of the U.S. Embassy and residential compounds adjacent to the Trutier area of Tabarre. All Embassy personnel have been instructed to remain indoors and shelter-in-place until further notice. All others should avoid the area.

Actions to take:

Avoid the area;

Avoid demonstrations and any large gatherings of people;

Do not attempt to drive through roadblocks; and

If you encounter a roadblock, turn around and get to a safe area.
