I suspect Frank Luntz is not necessarily noting this because of any desire to pile on Trump, even though he is clearly with the "Never Trumper" troops. Rather, he's seeing a striking example of populist appeal. Is a good example of how people who have long felt dissed by elites might feel they have still comeuppance in Trump, the plain talkin' guy, having power. Think of how someone who voted for Trump would answer "which guy would you trust to look after your interests if all you had was this video"?
