CAPITOL OUTBREAK HAS ARRIVED—At least 20 US Capitol police officers now have active #COVID19, marking the largest number of cases among the rank and file in months.

This follows numerous members of Congress who also have tested positive after the siege.

and I would like to add: this may complicate prosecution of cases of perps if they are ill and also complicate holding those before trial who are deemed dangerous or at a risk of fleeing.

Events: Heavy gunfire is occuring around the area of the U.S. Embassy and residential compounds adjacent to the Trutier area of Tabarre. All Embassy personnel have been instructed to remain indoors and shelter-in-place until further notice. All others should avoid the area.

Actions to take:

Avoid the area;

Avoid demonstrations and any large gatherings of people;

Do not attempt to drive through roadblocks; and

If you encounter a roadblock, turn around and get to a safe area.
