This is the best, most succinct argument I've seen for doing the right thing on healthcare. It's far more honest than any of the garbage coming out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue or Capitol Hill. It isn't long and it's the truth. But don't take it from me. Take a look for yourself.

Well I guess you have one side that represents everything that is evil in the universe.
And what is left is incompetence with a smattering of evil.
There are many, many dems in both houses of Congress doing good work. Attempting to make government work for the best; for the people.
Name me one repub that is doing the same?

Thanks for posting this, oleeb.
Of course single payer is the way to go. Personally, I want to go even further. I would like to see fully socialized medicine in this country. But I'm not holding my breath.
It's worth making our voices heard on this, but it won't change things. To change things, we have to change the power structure. The only way that's going to happen is some kind of major collapse. And, lucky for us, it's coming!

But it isn't a matter of whether there are some good Democrats DD. We know that there are some, but actually there aren't that many when it comes right down to it. There are less than 100 in the House and maybe 10-15 in the Senate. We know the Republicans suck. But the fact is, the largest block of Democrats are just as corrupt as the Republicans and that's why we get in situations like this. They serve the same interests as Republicans they just put a better face on it in most cases. In some cases, like the Blue Dogs, they don't even bother trying to hide the fact that they're whores to the special interests. It is simply a matter of degree with respect to how corrupt the two parties are. The healthcare reform bill is a classic example of how this corruption undermines what the well meaning and sincere Democrats try to accomplish for the public (including most Democratic voters as well as a majority of independent voters). This vid demonstrates nicely how it works and what the problem really is.
