    The Reverend Wendy's Telethon for Synch (Cafe-athon?)

    Every time you Rec this, AND contribute, an Angel Gets It's Wings!   ;-}

    I offered to repost this for Synch.  Please realize how hard it is to ask for some money from Virtual Strangers (hahahahaha)  to get through an injury until you can make your own living again.

     To make it more fun, you can post a song that illustrates how necessary money is, and how hard it is to come by!  Thanks in advance, you darlin' peckerwoods!

    She's asking for loans, and if you can't afford to contribute enough for a loan make sense, you could always just send a few bucks as a gift.

    I've been where she is, and it sucks.

    'Hello.  Here I am again asking for your help.  Yesterday the surgeon treating my wrist determined that I need 4 weeks of physical therapy to regain normal use and function of my wrist.  (For those of you that don't know, I fell and broke my wrist on my right, dominant hand and was unable to work for some time and only able to work a limited amount in the past few weeks.)

    My lawyer referred me to a colleague a couple of weeks ago because she realized she was not devoting enough energy to my case.  The new lawyer is better.  Both took my case on contingency and both believe it will settle without too much hassle but it will take more time now that I changed lawyers etc.  The lawyer tells me that I will be paid for lost work and she has her staff enacting the med-pay  provision for one of the plaintiff's property insurance which means most if not all of my medical bills will get paid apart from the settlement.

    I lost two of three accounting clients I had early on because I was unable to work.  I have been able to do a little work for the other but he is a tv cameraman for sports events and has been out of town much of the time so I haven't been able to do much for him until he returns in March.  I have a new client I was able to do two hours of work for this month and they will receive income from their first sales in March and will hire me on to do more regular hours then.  So potential for getting a better income for March looks very good.

    However, I have to ask for help again in the form of loans to get through the next two weeks, ie paying my rent & utils to keep myself moving forward.  My lawyer recommends I try to find a bigger loan so I will be less stressed until the case settles but what I really need right now is $900.  I had thought all of this would move forward much more quickly and had no idea the healing process would take so long and my ability to work would have been so impaired.  If you can help by loaning me any amount no matter how small, I will pay you back and if you are comfortable with waiting until May or June, I will repay you when the case settles.  That way I can just focus on creating income to get back on my feet before repaying everyone.

    Some of you know that I gave up my puppy at the beginning of February.  It was a rough decision and I am still integrating it but I could not train him well for too long and had been so overwhelmed by the challenge of doing normal things that I realized it was what was best for him.  He is just so beautiful and such an incredible puppy, I wanted to make sure he grows up to be a dog we all would love and appreciate.  An acquaintance of mine had been looking for a puppy when I let people know about my decision and she has Buddha now.

    So amidst all of the challenge, loss, and change (I did move into a townhouse share at the end of December because I had to move and it reduced my expenses) there has also been love, support, and the biggest shocker, I went on a date recently, splint and all, and find myself now in a new relationship with a really good man... and the last real relationship I was in was over 7 years ago.  Lost a puppy, found a boyfriend...

    I also have found that I had a lot of time to reflect on myself, who I am (not so much on the 'grand' scale, that I know even as it is ever unfolding), what matters to me.  I feel very free realizing that there's not a lot I 'need' and lots of things I wanted or thought I wanted could be let go of and I can still be happy and life is still good.  I have trusted that things would work out and I have relied on the help of friends and even strangers and everything 'is' okay.

    If you are able to help with a small loan and are comfortable with my repaying it when my case settles you can either send a check to:

    Or you can use paypal to use a debit or credit card at this link.

    If you have any questions please email me at [email protected]

    If you would please email me there to make sure I know of your help and have your information to repay you, that would be greatly appreciated.

    Love and Thanks to all of you who have already helped me and are able to help now.

    I have every confidence of being able to keep my word and repay every loan.'
