Prior to the Virginia election, Steve Bannon was praising Ed Gillespie for embracing Trump’s racism and xenophobia. Gillespie used the dog-whistles of MS-13 and nonexistent sanctuary cities to scare voters. This was in line with the tone of Trumpism. After Gillespie lost, Bannon says the loss was because Gillespie did not embrace Trump’s platform. You cannot make this stuff up.
Bannon now says that Republicans should not give up on minority areas. Good luck with that.

The current Governor lost the white vote (56-36) just like Northam lost the white vote (57-42). McAuliffe won the black vote 90-8, similar to Obama’s 93-6. Northam won the black vote 86-13. It will be interesting to see what factors drove 13% of black voters to support Gillespie.

If it weren't for this nation's ethnic/racial diversity Trump would have goose stepping mercenaries parading down Constitution Ave. and the GOP wouldn't care as long as the rich got tax cuts.

gone off the deep end into deep-state-conspiracy land; current headline @ Breitbart:
After Endorsing Democrat in Alabama, Bezos’s Washington Post Plans to Hit Roy Moore with Allegations of Inappropriate Relations with Teenagers; Judge Claims Smear Campaign
As I noted on the "Northam Wins" thread, kinda pitiful that Moore is the only candidate he really has to support?

Not so sad, really - a dude like Bannon belongs alone.
