Nice sentiments but what's his plan for getting rid of all the Wahhabi clerics and their influence? The royal family was never the problem as regards this problem, rather, it was the deal they made to be in power, that the Wahhabis would be allowed to set and enforce the societal values

It's saying that period has closed, and that the nice and slow covert set of go-it-slow actions will now be more over and quick. The king was doing some things, but the prince knows 2030 is only 12 years away now - he's prepared to knock heads.
PS - maybe Bannon is cheerleading the retrograde medieval clans - a natural affinity and support group for him.
