.@maggieNYT & I reported in January that Shine wasn’t getting the results POTUS expected. Chemistry continued to fizzle in recent weeks, and Shine was absent at big moments, but his resignation still surprised his allies inside the WH, I am told.

The problem was the WH thought with Bill Shine they could run fox news instead of fox news running the WH. It just didn't work out with Hannity, Ingraham, Carlson et. al continuing to make policy decisions for Trump.

ah hah, I think you got it. And now that we've all gotten to know him, I can see it's actually not in anyone's self interest to inform Trump that they might not really be Trump supporters as he thinks of supporters.

(Now it comes to mind: maybe not even Jvanka. Imagine having such a narcissist as a father and him seeing himself in you. Not really expressing sympathy in any way, just thinking of how strange the relationship would be. We all try to manipulate our parents....)

Events: Heavy gunfire is occuring around the area of the U.S. Embassy and residential compounds adjacent to the Trutier area of Tabarre. All Embassy personnel have been instructed to remain indoors and shelter-in-place until further notice. All others should avoid the area.

Actions to take:

Avoid the area;

Avoid demonstrations and any large gatherings of people;

Do not attempt to drive through roadblocks; and

If you encounter a roadblock, turn around and get to a safe area.
