The DNC needs to pay attention to this. 11/18 is just over a year away.

I'm with you. This has the makings of a potentially serious problem. Obviously, Democrats need to reach out to black communities and really listen to them. What do you recommend RMRD?

Why do you care how black women vote? I read on your blog that you wrote in Bernie's name on your ballot. Be concerned with yourself and how your people vote. Black women don't need your advice. They tried to warn us all and we went and elected dotard. Don't bother black women, Hal.

U didn't read on my blog that I wrote in Bernie's name.

I did read it on your blog in a response to a question. I noticed you didn't emphatically deny it. Clever move to let RMRD cape for you (you're entirely too kind rmrd). Did you vote for Hilary Clinton, Hal? Please clear it up for me.

Cut and paste and then link to the comment. My website is public and nothing has been deleted.

Again you did not answer the question. Did you vote for Hilary Clinton?

My response was based on comments made here at dagblog. Can you link to Hal's post? I don't read Hal's blog.
Edit to add:
Regarding Sanders, I feel that he is a distraction. He never accomplished anything in Congress and would have been overwhelmed as President. Sanders has never really tried to connect to the black community. Black women made the only rational choice. Currently, 40% of the country still approves of Trump. This is after the Russian involvement, the ridiculous lying about inauguration crowd size, his inept response to North Korea, and inability to get any significant legislation passed. Democrats appear to want to focus on white Trump voters rather than their base of minority voters and solid white Democrats. Trump voters were willing to put a white supremacist in office. Trump voters are willing to continue to support Trump despite his calling Mexicans rapists, voter suppression efforts, and his focus on black athletes while he criticizes the people of color in Puerto Rico devastated by a hurricane. Black women should be pissed that Democrats ignore them in favor of white Trump voters.
2nd Edit to add:
On a lighter note, the Root provides us with instructions on how to protest without being offense to white people

Regarding you addition RMRD, I too am aghast at Apprentice's 40% approval rating. How can it be that high? In my view, to defeat him and the Republicans, Democrats have got to figure out a way to rally their base and independents in support of a positive agenda that puts people over corporations.
by HSG on Tue, 09/26/2017 - 8:44am
Hal, the Republicans are trying to roll back the things Democrats did to help people. Democrats lost the South after the Civil Rights Act. Democrats got wiped out after Obamacare passed. Voters elected Republicans who want to end health care coverage for tens of millions. Democrats get punished for doing the right thing. Trump wants the corporal rate at 15% or less. Trump wants taxes on the rich lowered. You are blind to the fact that the voting public hates the things you support. They vote for Republicans despite the fact that most Americans saw their taxes go down under Obama. Our fellow citizens put racism over their own self interest. If blacks are benefiting in any way, the voting is against it. Neither you or Sanders can deal with reality.

I'm on my cell right now. Cannot cut & paste, and I don't have time to track it down on Hal's blog. It was after the election and one of his radio listeners was upset because Hal had essentially not vetted Trump during the campaign, and saw Hilary as evil. He felt that Hal had let the audience down at a critical time in history. Hal wrote that everyone thought Hilary would win and that because he lived in a state that was safe for Hilary, he wrote in Bernie's name. Hal has not answered the question of whether he voted Hilary?
by How Dare U (not verified) on Tue, 09/26/2017 - 4:06pm
Hal supports Bernie Sanders, but voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

Thanks RMRD and thanks for the links. I read them closely and take them seriously. I hope Democratic leaders do too.
