Seems like a really rational response all around. They couldn't find a jury that would even considering conviction on something like a little pot possession, which shouldn't even be a crime, but the guy pleas in a way where he serves some time for actual crimes with victims committed.

This cracked me up:
The potential jurors in the case ranged in ages from 20s to 60s, with one of the most vocal in her 60s.
