More horror.
WaPo account by Alex Horton and Wesley Lowery (the latter is author of They Can't Kill Us All).
The good thing about Marty Baron, by far the best editor of the WaPo, a major source of news for me these days, since at least Ben Bradlee, is that he is absolutely fearless. He will go after anyone, as he proved in the case of the Catholic church molestation abuses in Boston (pretty much the working definition of a suicide mission to pursue that story for those who view themselves as adhering to a properly "pragmatic" view of life) as well as numerous other times. If we do not get that sort of journalism now and for the forseeable future, the possibilities for us to self-correct look to be slim to none.
That can leave you longing for a ray of sunshine, somewhere, however: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/opinions/wp/2018/03/23/the-november-... (this is about how I feel at the moment)

Evidently Stephon's brother lost it at a Sac city council meeting earlier this week.
Meanwhile the Trump Administration, once again stepping up to the plate (not) to deal with this issue:
