White candidates who try to appease the far Left by criticizing President Obama will lose black votes. Some like Matt Stiller and David Sirota are already voicing complaints.. This is destructive.

Good luck...
Not sure I see where going to Columbia U and then lolling and lazing around NY until he falls into an internet biz makes him a man of the people either, even before he married into dough. But if Hillary'd done it, she'd be craven and cynical. Hell, marrying a poor redneck from Arkansas was a calculating career climbing move.

I nonetheless feel compelled to point out that Betomania looks very similar to Obamamania at a similar stage of the game:
And given that I really pretty much disliked Obamamania (especially as it often reminded me of a lot of memes I studied in that European 20th-Century populist cultural history undergrad course stressing the endgame of totalitarianism), I have this p.o.v. now: who am I to say?![wink wink](http://cdn.ckeditor.com/4.5.6/full-all/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.png)
Edit to add: look at the current banner photo on his Twitter home page! veeery interesting: certainly not afraid at this point in the game to use people of color to represent his fan base...

Just pointing out his baggage. Obama was an open slate.

Beto received 94% of the votes of black women in Texas. His Progressive message might work nationally.

Beto does not have Bernie’s history of being unable to craft a message that works in minority communities

I think you mean "Bernie's indifference to blacks". If you have to "craft a message", you're prolly floundering already.
