I have mentioned several times over the years a book which has had some influence on my life. I was first grabbed by the title, “Small is Beautiful, Economics as if People Mattered” by E.F. Schumacher. David Swanson, a dedicated peace activist, and author of the above piece has an online audio program called “Talk Nation Radio” which he calls, "A half hour discussion of politics as if the people mattered.” What a concept.
