He bet millions on Trump and now his every wish is fulfilled--at the expense of Middle East peace.

These are strange days,LU. This is the type of anti-Trump/Israel screed I'd expect to read at the SWP or the ACLU not TAC. It depends on the typical leftist revisionist history to weave a fake narrative trying to portray Trump as following Adelson's lead or being his puppet.
Trump was the only repub candidate who didn't make the pilgrimage to Adelson's Mecca in LV to kiss his ring and he received no support from Adelson who supported Cruz. In fact Adelson had to make the pilgrimage to Trump's turf in NYC bearing gifts like a subservient princeling from his desert stronghold, hedging his bets. The $25 million sacrificial offering Adelsom hand delivered to Trump was accepted but not needed and some of Adelson's agenda was already Trumps agenda before Adeson kissed his ring.

I agree with your analysis of Trump and Adelson. But I would add that Trump Mideast policy is actually Jared Kushner's Mideast policy, which is pro Israel and pro Saudi. Just in a slightly different way from Adelson.

I'm not sure that a demilitarized Palestinian state would be "not really a state at all". But Bibi intends to keep a slice of the West Bank and to control "security" in the rest of it, meaning he will still be jailing Palestinians and controlling their movement. So yeah, that's basically a bantustan.

Palestine has long been a bantustan, first under the Ottomans, then the British, then the Hashemites but now they might have the opportunity for an independent bantustan.
Hamas, a terrorist militia is what Israel is demanding be demilitarized and not be allowed to become the military of the new state. Hamas uses food aid, sugar, to make rocket fuel, to attack Israel and as an independent state Palestine's military could get direct military aid from Iran and would line their other border with thousands of much more deadly rockets just as Hezbollah has done in Lebanon.

Bantustan, sweet - damn keifers, natives - can't educate 'em, can't get rid of 'em. Do your best Cecil Rhodes imitation - I assume you're fluent in deplorablish. And via Bibi's son, seems that ethnic cleansing is gonna be trending for 2019 (funny, Yair seems to be giving Donald Trump Jr a run for his money as "stupid big-mouthed offspring of loud-mouthed political figure - good thing as both of their fathers look to be headed to jail). But I still can't figure out why Palestinians want to live in Palestine - why don't they all just move to Manhattan? Just a bunch of whiners, no?

A Palestinian friend of mine, named Aiman, the Terrorist by some locals, told me that he could no longer return to the West Bank to visit his family. King PlayStation had revoked his, and a hundred thousand other WB Palestinian's Jordanian citizenship and passports. I told him that he could become a US citizen and use a US passport to travel home but he rejected that idea probably because he would be viewed by some Palestinians, and possibly killed, as being a traitor. He's stuck in a strange limbo of being a man without a country along with many other Palestinians that a bantustan with all its' flaws might remedy.
