The Name of the Rose and Foucault's Pendulum meant something to me.
The movie involving The Name of the Rose was wonderful!
Did you ever read some book and become enthralled?
Well, I read two books by this author. And both books involved me.

Eco meant a lot more to me than Scalia1

We've lost Harper Lee as well ... controversial, colorful, withdrawn and never meant for the limelight. Funny how destiny works.

Yes, Harper is gone as well!
I not only read her famous novel, I still dream of Peck with his wondrous speeches in that wondrous movie.
The sequel from Harper was wondrous also.
It is getting to the point where I am no fun anymore....

You're also a bit repetitive. Do I hear an Eco, or Marco Rubio got you spinning?

My pc has not duplicated itself for awhile. Then I could not get rid of the echo.

Your realize this is the last "In The News" piece ever, right? Cause no one's going to want to top "Umberto Eco is Dead!" I hope you appreciate the gravity of what you've done.
Now have a nice Day - and don't screw up the "From the Readers" section or I'm really in a fix.
