Nate Silver pointed out different, that 30-49 are still tilting liberal, rather than traditionally growing more conservative. (search Twitter or his site, cain't be bothered)

Yeah it's right in his tweet which I posted in the body, he's the one that pointed to the Gallup article. But the conservative numbers haven't budged, been the same all these years, basically a straight line on the graph. No doubt what changed is that more people are no longer hesitant to describe themselves as "liberal" rather than "moderate". Those possibly sick of the one third, not going to placate them any more? I.E., I used to try to get along with my conservative neighbors, but no more, this Trump shit is too much, after all he doesn't have conservative family values, he's a braying ass
