Why do you need to know about this case? Because right wing social media is going crazy suggesting it was racial. Sessoms is black and the Hinnant's are white. It's tailor made for culture wars exploitation and everyone and his uncle is going to be emotionally manipulated into having an opinion.

Right wing social media goes crazy over everything. BlackLivesMatter is a terrorist group. Kamala Harris is not a United States citizen.
It is possible that this homicide was committed by an individual criminal, an individual with mental issues, or a person with a drug addiction.
You seem to have very little faith that people can tell the difference.

Three white.men murdered Ahmaud Arbery. None of the men were arrested immediately as was the case in the murder of the young child

And left wing does the exact same as you did. Referencing something that’s already happened to compare it to something recent and the two stories are as different as night day. Your bias is extreme and it shows. We don’t know what occurred but since you want to go there we will. Do the research on your own and understand the facts. Black on white crime is soaring and has been for years. Stop being a racist for once.

The post I was responding to suggested a surge in black on white homicides. I asked for data supporting that statement. After hearing crickets, I found an article published this year that referenced risk data.
Are you aware of a surge in blacks killing whites?
I don't personally own or carry a firearm. I don't walk around with sharp knives. I am not in the practice of creating poisons. I would assess my chances of murdering someone as 0 in over 300 million.

We're racial profiling here - whats your chance you as a Black male, mě as a White malé, of killing someone of samé or different race or gender? I do a bit of Simple math when im walking Down the street, "hey that Laotian girl has a 0.0016% chance of killing me, but the Bashkiri dude Is more like 0.073%". Safer living through statistics.

Nooe, you're missing the math. Since there are say 5x as many whites, i have roughly the same chance of being killed by anyone in the street, So i can be effectively colorblind And fear everyone equally. You have about twice the chance of being murdered by a generic black person as a generic white. Bayesian methods probably change this a bit, but not enough coffee...
And since many murders are crimes of passion, the chance that you or i commit Murder Is significantly greater than 0, even if it's a game of Clue to figure out if it'll be a rope in the parlor or a tire jack in the study.

You are in the habit, though, of posting lots and lots of stories about black victims of all sorts and virtually none on white victims of any kind.
On a website you presume to be populated by whites. You show virtually zero interest in and promotion of news stories about: successful blacks outside of politics nor victimized whites outside of politics.
Your activities on this website are the exact flip side of the right wingers you are complaining about. You have very narrow interests, and cherry pick news to serve your agenda.
When you criticize others for being "in a bubble" it clearly screams "projection" to any reader of any intelligence. Edit to add: this behavior also looks racist to any reader of any intelligence. Us regulars are just basically used to it as we are sick of arguing the same things over and over and we are tolerant of all kinds, including racism. As racist and other hateful thoughts and speech are not crimes in this country, only racist actions are.

You present Thomas Chatterton Williams as the "right thinking" black guy
Like Glenn Loury and John McWhorter, Williams is in mainstream.
If you ever listen to Loury's podcast, you he realizes his students don't buy what he is selling
Be comforted that McWhorter is writing a book challenging "race" it should make you feel better
BTW "Caste" is about a system worse than race.
Caste says that you are never qualified to be in a position of power.
There is no musing that he/she is "one of the good ones"

You've misread things. Most of the outcry is about the biased legacy news networks originally refusing to air this story, likely because it didn't service a racial and political ideology.
The criminal act of executing a child in cold blood should be both color-blind, AND nationally news-worthy. Only hatred and racism could render it otherwise.
