When I read stuff like this, I am unfortunately reminded how allowing JFK to appoint RFK as his attorney general is such a bad precedent, will always be used as a "both sides do it" point of argument.
Where does one draw the line in the spectrum from past business or political relationships to friendlies and relatives?
Similar but different because a policy advocacy situation is not the same as a legal appt. :Bill Clinton having Hillary do the Health Care tax force got us Jvanka involved in policy making appts. without that much outrage.
