Republicans, another example of not enough guns? Shows why all hospital or university doctors, staff, professors, students (and patients?) should be allowed to carry loaded sidearms?
"Police have told us there were 9 total victims ... 2 of whom have been confirmed dead," UPMC said on Twitter.
"According to police, 1 of 2 confirmed dead... is believed to be the shooter," it said on Twitter.

The NRA may argue that if the wounded receptionist had a hair trigger shotgun ready, loaded and on her desk and pointed out at the waiting room, this tragic incident might have never occurred. NRA/GOP - Only when every able citizen is armed and ready to kill bad guys will gun violence end.

Wednesday I kept an appointment with a doctor in a building I had never visited before. On the door was a sign that read: This is a smoke-free, gun-free facility.
Kind of startled me.

I wonder if that sign has the force of law. States do stipulate that your carry permit doesn't allow you to bring a concealed weapon into an airport or a stadium, but I'm not sure if just anyone can override your permit with a sign.
