ONE SPACE
Hence the adoption of the two-space rule—on a typewriter, an extra space after a sentence makes text easier to read. Here's the thing, though: Monospaced fonts went out in the 1970s. First electric typewriters and then computers began to offer people ways to create text using proportional fonts. Today nearly every font on your PC is proportional. (Courier is the one major exception.) Because we've all switched to modern fonts, adding two spaces after a period no longer enhances readability, typographers say. It diminishes it.
Hell, I recall when it was proper to indent paragraphs!
I am so very glad that this problem has been clarified, like butter.
Some might intone:
WHO IN THE FRICK GIVES ONE GODDAMN?
Well the answer is blowin in the wind!
THE TRUMP IS AT IT AGAIN!
Convinced that the planned 11 wind turbines would spoil the views at his new golf course, built on the coast of Aberdeenshire, Trump alleged that Scotland’s first minister, Alex Salmond, had secretly interfered in the decision to approve the project — a move, he said, that represented clear and illegal bias by the Scottish government, not to mention a violation of the European Convention of Human Rights. The court dismissed his claims, adding that Trump’s human rights were irrelevant to the cause.
PolicyMic has a good history of Trump’s anti-windmill sentiment, neatly summed up in this statement: ”Wind farms are a disaster for the environment. They kill the birds. They are very expensive in terms of energy. They’re made in China."
FACTS
An estimated 300 million to 1 billion birds die each year from collisions with glass on buildings, from skyscrapers to homes. Birds simply can’t tell reflection from reality. Even if a bird flies away after striking a window, it may die elsewhere as a result of the collision.
No one knows for sure. Recent estimates of the number of birds killed by wind turbines ranges from a low of 100,000 birds/year to 440,000 birds/year (calculated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service). If 20% of the nation’s electricity comes from wind power by 2030, ABC estimates that at least one million birds per year will be killed by wind turbines, probably significantly more.(ibid)
Now the above quote is taken by a bird loving group. And the site in dealing with the deaths of birds due to wind energy installations is very supportive of wind energy.
And it occurs to me that Trump, who is known for big buildings that are killing millions of birds every damn year could give one goddamn about birds!

The actual amount of energy being generated by this new industry is remarkable.
The increase in the amount of new turbines being created just in the last year is incredible.
The increase in the amount of renewable energy sources for this nation over the last five years, let alone the last year is incredible.
Forget for a moment what a damn failure Trump has been his entire life.

Forget for a moment what a damnable liar Trump has been his entire life.
Just think about the amount of energy this bastard steals from the public every day.
Do you realize the amount of energy a casino uses, every damn day contributing nothing of value to society?
He wants a frickin golf course that will have cameras and towers and bleachers and water sprinklers and....and he does not think that these thingies do not screw up the environment...or the view?
Oh that is enough. I am having problems with the damn keyboard again and I am tired.
If BP fell in love with wind, the damn repubs and the damn right wing including FOX will probably have to give up the fight!
That's all I got. My PC is mad about something!
Comments
I can't help it! It is like OCD. After the period and I hit the space button I simply can not move forward without tapping the space bar again. If I think I didn't I will go back and check. First they came for my fountain pen and I said nothing......now they want my space and, and.....
