I watch Rachel every night. Maybe I hit five minutes, maybe I hit thirty minutes. It depends upon my mood or how interested I am in the subject matter or maybe I am enrapt in some drama on the tellie. Anyway, I get two other shots at her program after first air.
Tonight, I was enthralled.
The Majority Leader in the Wisconsin Senate, has been formally charged with heinous crimes against women.
There appears to be no allegations of murder or rape but this guy has been hitting women, grabbing women's nether parts, attacking women verbally, threatening women....
At any rate, the guy has been formally charged three years and more following his offensive conduct.

Quite a story.
Now, to clear out my slant on these kinds of things, I hate Wisconsin repubs. I have detested these pricks since the days of Senator Joseph McCarthy.
Real and I mean real racist corporate sponsoring red baiting anti-poor baiting....rotten pricks have been working as politicians in Wisconsin forever.
And the 2010 elections brought the worst of them out including that prick Walker.
Not that this is not enough for me to post something.
It is just that Rachel's show dealt with a nuance; a nuance of which I am more than aware.
On at least four occassions I have written of the 50's suburbs in the Twin Cities.
I happened upon documents filed with the County Recorder where I discovered 'black-outs' with regard to those documents.
If you recall, the U.S. Supreme Court and my own Minnesota Supreme Court had outlawed a practice known as Restrictive Covenants that related to the sale of real estate.
A Restrictive Covenant might put forth this admonition in deeds transferring property following a sale:
The purchaser agrees that at no time will he transfer title of this property to a person or persons of the Negroid Race nor to anyone of the Jewish Race.
Well, the Courts struck down these directives in the 50's and the County Recorders (and Registrars) were ordered to 'delete' these provisions from each and every deed.
So during my examinations in the 70's, the Restrictive Covenants were 'deleted'. Except a black out pen that was used in these deletions, left the reader with the ability to read from these 'original sins'.
And, every time I write about this experience, I praise the censor.
THE HISTORY IS THERE FOR EVERYONE TO READ AT HIS OR HER LEASURE.
So this Wisconsin prick is duly arrested and booked and his arrest record is there for all to see, except certain parts of the prosecutorial record is 'blacked-out'.
Except, the person in charge of 'blacking out' used the same type of pen that those good county censors used forty or fifty years ago in Richfield, Minnesota.
Hahahahahahahahah
And now other Wisconsin repubs are in trouble, because it is clear that they knew damn well what this sombitch had been up to three years ago and more. Hahahahahah Including a US Senator repub bastard who had claimed he had no idea what a sombitch this Majority Leader really was.
Hahahahah
You can read about the trials of Bill Kramer here:
I am just in love with the Wisconsin official involved in the censoring. Hahahaha
Now according to Rachel, the name of the victims still could not be discerned by looking at these records.
I love this Wisconsin Official just like I love those County Officials who decided upon the best manner in which to 'delete' the Restrictive Covenants from the County Records in Richfield, Minnesota back when.
So sue me. hahahahah

I actually think Wisconsin is worse off then Florida. There is some real loons up there and I am not talking about birds. Walker thinks he can become President.
When the GOP had their convention this last time in Tampa, the topless bars raked in the money. The down town businesses took a loss because locals were afraid to go into the area. Most of the bars with pole dancers are in the suburbs. They didn't do much tourist stuff or shopping. They just did a lot of eating, drinking and whoring around. It don't say much about the culture of the party.

Minnesota for chrissakes came so close to being taken over by repubs in the State Senate and the State House and the the Office of Governor only four years ago.
Governor Dayton, whom I have always adored even though he is given a negative review as our Senator, really is a genius.
This man really kept us from being Wisconsin. I mean he was so very clever in evading the intent of the Tea Party in our state, that I would award him with some great Democratic elation that our nation does not understand.
Now we are safe, as it were, from the onslaughts of outrageous fortune that Wisconsin now faces.
Look
Keep minorities from voting
Cut food stamps
Stop ACA ANYWAY possible
Cut corporate taxes
Increase the middle class taxes
Make it possible to shoot folks who cross your lawn
Make birth control pills illegal
Shut down any chance for sexual equality with regard to wage controls.
You know all this Momoe.
Hell, we might have passed laws erasing any mention of Darwin in our textbooks.
hahahah
Well we did not and that is a function of our great great Governor Dayton.
the end

Did you see PBS special, Our Inner Fish? It is about our evolution and how life evolved from water to land. It was on this week in my area. I bet that drove the Religious Right into a hissy fit.
In all honesty, I don't think the GOP will matter much after this decade is over.
St. Leo College did a poll they released this week showing Scott one point ahead of Crist but there was a large undecided. It is a small Catholic College. It is one of those polls that don't mean much this early. But the right leaning blogs are really happy about it. They are ignoring Scott's approval rating is in the toilet. Tampa Times op-eds are raking Scott over the coals and the state media took Scott to task yesterday about his lying about ACA at a presser. It was cut short after that. Scott has trouble showing his face in public now that the race is on. Tampa Times is a non profit paper and is the largest paper in Florida.
Also this week they announced that there will be no toilet facilities at the polling places in Miami next November. They will all be locked. What a bunch of morons. Like that will stand up in court? I think this came from the state because they were being questioned on having handicapped facilities at polling places in Miami. Some Judge will put a stop to that because of building codes.

The Republican Party has gone crazy and if there are any moderates , they have been silenced. So-called moderate Susan Collins voted with the pack in blocking an equal pay bill. The entire lot of the GOP is worthless. When people point out that Rand Paul wants to legalize marijuana, all I hear is that Mussolini made the trains run on time.
