Look at these numbers. At this point in time 90,345 RSVPS's at 3.344 sites. Some of the site are large halls. I had to change the numbers while posting this. They are climbing tonight.
Here is the site with the interactive map as to where you can go to attend the Nationwide Organizing Event. I hope the media is paying attention to this. You know they are convinced that he is not a major player in this election. After all he is not going to buy any of their air time so how could he possibly be a serious candidate?
South Florida is full of dots. I am impressed with the ones in the south in general.
Update: 10:00 am 7/29 There is now 98.975 RSVPS. It could very well reach 100.000.
This cartoon I posted yesterday on DD FB page. It is from Political in the tradition of Puck. It fits in with what is going on today.

Update: It is now over 100,000 at 3500 places. I am fascinated with his appeal to voters.

What I find fascinating is were all the dots are. Lower Wisconsin, South Florida and Coastal Florida, Michigan and North Carolina. These are states with bat shit legislatures and corrupt governors. You expect New England states, New York, Pa. and California to be covered in dots.
The North East Coast of Florida is always very red. Rick Scott is letting the Koch bros. corporations and cattle ranchers pollute the St. Johns River. It has hurt the wild life in the river.

How interesting. There's actually a gathering in the tiny little town near me in southern Arizona. Probably many of my friends will be there, we have a pretty active progressive movement here in spite of small population. I, of course, will be there also.

There is 2 with in 2 miles from me and 29 with in 5o miles of me. I can't attend and work for Bernie. I have passed the baton on to younger people to work a campaign. I am sure his speech will be up on the internet by Thursday.
Let us know how it turns out for you.

Well, I won't work for Bernie during the primary as I lean toward Hillary. But my friends will be there and I'll support them in some way. Also if Bernie somehow gets the nomination we all better get ready to work like we never have before to get him elected president since I believe it will be a hard long fight.

Oh I love Bernie.

Thank you, Dick. We love him too, in my California family, as though he were Paul Wellstone.

See, you just mention Paul's name and I shed a tear.
The only reason we have Senator Franken is because he became lost when the plane went down a few miles from where I write this. And Al moved on from his depression and became my favorite senator.
We lose and then we win.
such is life.

It is now up to 94,425. That is a lot of people that will be listening to his talk. This was spread around by social media the last couple of weeks.
I guess the silent primary for the Republicans will be held this week end. Koch bros. will be looking over the group that shows up for the get together.

For those who are interested here is a follow up of last night's events. The Daily Kos put together this from it's contributors. Hillary verses Bernie is a national sporting event for this blog group.

You do have to admit this approach is novel for modern times that elections have been so dependent on large mega sums of money and Madison Ave. marketing.
More please.
