I'm so glad Biden decided not to run. He had only two paths to victory that I could see and he probably would have to use both of them. He would have to run a nasty campaign against Hillary using all the common republican talking points, emails, authenticity, trustworthyness lack of bipartisanship, etc. It would have been ugly and if he didn't beat her she would have been greatly weaken in the general. And he would have to lump Hillary with Sanders and attack them from the right as too liberal and socialist.
It would have been bad for the democratic party and bad for the liberal values and policy I support.

30 years in ever-worsening politics and outrageous behavior hasn't cured him.

I do not just love Joe, I love the idea of Joe.
I shall miss him.
But his time has passed.
Even though Joe is and has been a Great American.
We are all better for the memory of Joe.

Good one, Mr. Day.
Yeah, where ya' goin to run to now? The "enemies" comment was not exactly the high road.

There ya go.
I wonder how one might review an entire life.
The entire life of someone who played by the rules and 'won'?
Joe has been a great man and a great leader and a good husband and a good father.
I feel that as far as my memory is accessible, that I would agree with 90% of this man's votes.
But recall that these votes go back many decades.
Oh I am off line again. haHhHhh
How many roads must a man like this have to walk....?

Well, Rinse and Prewash had a mouthful to say about Biden's not running. He has been real quiet these days, so I thought maybe Koch had him locked in the basement.
This is his official statement from the RNC.
Maybe Rinse and Spin needs to stick with counting flowers on his wall paper and playing solitaire.

And here's the first Hillary bounce - expect Biden quitting & the Benghazi hearing to bounce her again, both early primaries (now tied in New Hampshire) & nationally.
