....Passengers on Delta Flight 1583 were asked to show their IDs to armed U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents as they stepped off the aircraft onto the jet bridge, according to passengers who snapped photos and posted them online.....The individual was determined not to be on the flight."
ICE has a tip line for reporting things, no cash bounty yet for informers.

I'm outraged. Hey attorney's out there, can you tell these guys no, take your 5th and demand to see an attorney? This isn't actually legal is it?
I just saw the report in Rolling Stone.

These Ice Men were obviously looking for an individual of the criminal alien variety but they have been indoctrinated in the fine art of PC multiculturalism. That requires them to appear to not discriminate so they must harass everyone.
I think the fifth amendment is for more important protections than ID checks which aren't protected.

This story hit me selfishly: yet another fucking law enforcement agency fully unleashed to prey on us all. Show your papers! Shut up, don't talk, don't care what you have to say! Respect me or else! Don't care what you have to do or where you are headed! My job comes first! I am not your civil servant, you are my servant!
It got me dreaming of stories of the Beats hitting the road, driving to the west coast along Highway 66.
And how I got woken up by a goddamn Amber Alert emergency text on my cell phone this morning. Now all my fellow citizens in the tri-state area are on the lookout for this evil car....
We're turning in the DDR now that it's gone?
Edit to add: self-chastisement for idolizing the "good old days". Because back in the good old days I, along with the Beats, could have been prosecuted for using the dirty word above in public discourse...there was no "freedom" then either.

Are you like the non-groovy chick they profiled for re-grooving?
